Server does not load/use the latest version of Extlib - xpages

I installed the OpenNTF Essentials including the 2nd version of the 9.0.1 Extlib incl. the new mobile controls such as the Single Page App Wizard. In Domino Designer everything works fine, I can use that feature. But my server does not load/know the latest version of these Extlib bundles. Here is what it says:

If I am not wrong this output says that the server used version 9.0.1.v00_00 instead of 9.0.1.v_00_02 of the extlib bundle.
EDIT: Padraic Edwards asked for the following:
> tell http osgi diag com.ibm.xsp.extlib
10.02.2014 18:00:02 update#../../shared/eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.xsp.extlib_9.0.1.v00_00_20131004-1200.jar [261]
10.02.2014 18:00:02 No unresolved constraints.
This is my updatsite with the Essentials:
My question is: why is the latest version not activated?
My problem is that a mobile page that was created with the wizard explicitly needs the version 00_02 or higher
private static final String[][] s_libraryVersions = new String[][]{
{"com.ibm.xsp.extlib.library", "9.0.1.v00_02"}, // version of "xe:dataView infiniteScroll"
};
That's fine with as long as the server does what it should do.
The XSP props are set to use the "Minimum release required by the XPage featured used" setting. All other pages work well.
I even tried the version 9.0.1.v_00_03 from OpenNTF but with the same result.
BTW: the error I get reads like this (sorry, I have german LP installed):
Für die Seite /m_index.xsp ist "com.ibm.xsp.extlib.library" Version 9.0.1.v00_02 oder höher erforderlich. Die Version der aktuellen Bibliothek lautet 9.0.1.v00_00.
Which means that this page needs 9.0.1_v00_02 or highter but only 9.0.1_v00_00 is installed.
EDIT: just noticed that the property "infitieScroll" enabled of the dataview causes the page to need this version.

That was tricky: for some reason the old libraries (8.5.3 stuff) were loaded as well as the 9.0.1_v00_00 ones. They existed because I upraded from 8.5.3 over 9.0.0 to 9.0.1 and installed Extlib 8.5.3 before manually. I removed the old stuff (the jar files) and signed the updatesite again with my ID (though it was created and imported with the same ID here...).
Now I get the latest version as ACTIVE.
Output is now:
> tell http osgi ss extlib

If anyone stumbles over this issue and the other answer does not solve the problem:
Try to create a new UpdateSite and load the latest extlib into it. That solved the issue for me.

How to update homebrew in preparation for installing node/npm on macOS Mojave

I attempted to install node.js/npm onto a macbook running Mojave 10.14.5 so that I can do local development of a web app. From internet research my understanding is the first step is updating homebrew in preparation for installation but I got the error "Error: /usr/local must be writable!" when I ran:
brew update
I searched the internet and other people appeared to have the command below fix the problem, but for me that didn't work and I still got the error.
sudo chown -R $(whoami) $(brew --prefix)/*
Can anyone offer any advice as to what I can do so that I can update brew and install node.js/npm? Is the brew update required or should I just skip that step?
Below is the output from brew --prefix that may help...

How to fix missing library after update and upgrade of Homebrew

I decided to update and upgrade Homebrew on a Friday afternoon (because why not) and it appears to have resulted in a missing library that's affecting my ability to run pretty much everything (PHP, Laravel Valet, Node, etc...) The error message on each is the same, so I'm hoping this is a simple fix, but I'm not sure where to begin.

They all appear to be looking for the library in /usr/local/opt/icu4c/lib/libicui18n.61.dylib
** EDIT **
I ran the brew command suggested by Styx and here is the output:
Chriss-MacBook-Pro-2:~ chris$ brew link icu4c
Warning: Refusing to link macOS-provided software: icu4c
If you need to have icu4c first in your PATH run:
echo 'export PATH="/usr/local/opt/icu4c/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.bash_profile
echo 'export PATH="/usr/local/opt/icu4c/sbin:$PATH"' >> ~/.bash_profile
For compilers to find icu4c you may need to set:
export LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/opt/icu4c/lib"
export CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/opt/icu4c/include"
Adding icu4c to my path is easy enough, but I'm not sure what to do about the second part asking to me to set
** Update **
Here is the output from running ls -l /usr/local/opt/icu4c/lib/

It seems your icu4c has been upgraded, but your php/node are still refer to an older version.
You can:
Reinstall software which depends on icu4c:
brew uses --installed icu4c | xargs brew reinstall
Switch to using older version of icu4c:
brew switch icu4c 61.2

I have trouble running rust in my linux box.
Here is my installation log:
>> curl https://sh.rustup.rs -sSf | sh
info: downloading installer
Welcome to Rust!
This will download and install the official compiler for the Rust programming
language, and its package manager, Cargo.
It will add the cargo, rustc, rustup and other commands to Cargo's bin
directory, located at:
/home/linuxbox/.cargo/bin
This path will then be added to your PATH environment variable by modifying the
profile files located at:
/home/linuxbox/.profile
/home/linuxbox/.bash_profile
You can uninstall at any time with rustup self uninstall and these changes will
be reverted.
Current installation options:
default host triple: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
default toolchain: stable
modify PATH variable: yes
1) Proceed with installation (default)
2) Customize installation
3) Cancel installation

Rust is installed now. Great!
To get started you need Cargo's bin directory ($HOME/.cargo/bin) in your PATH
environment variable. Next time you log in this will be done automatically.
To configure your current shell run source $HOME/.cargo/env
I have set the the environment variable and my path shows the /home/linuxbox/.cargo/bin/cargo. However, when I type 'cargo` I am getting
>> cargo
bash: /home/linuxbox/.cargo/bin/cargo: Permission denied
.cargo and .rustup directory permissions are:
>> ll .cargo/ .rustup/

Permissions seem o.k but clueless why am I getting Permission denied error.
Could someone shed some light to help troubleshoot/fix this?
EDIT:
My distribution: Antix (Debian Based) and I am having a separate /home partition.
Managed to get that work by mounting my /home partition by adding the following line in the /etc/fstab
/dev/sda4 /home/rusty ext4 defaults 0 2
Thank you guys

Executing PowerShell script on Python

I am trying to execute the following Windows PowerShell script (Get-Event-Logs.ps1):
Get-EventLog system -After (Get-Date).AddDays(-30) -Instance 44
It should output something like this:

I am executing in python with the following code:
import subprocess, sys
p = subprocess.Popen(['powershell.exe', 'Get-Event-Logs.ps1'], stdout=subprocess.PIPE,universal_newlines=True)
out, err = p.communicate()

All I'm getting is a blank.
Where am I going wrong?

Nothing happens when I tried to run liferay 6.1.1. on a existing Tomcat 7 server

Any help will be welcome.
I followed this tutorial steps, trying to run liferay 6.1.1. on a existing tomcat, but nothing happens when I launch tomcat server.
Server's log message (see), seems to be normal, but every tomcat default app is loaded, except liferay's war file. When I hit localhost:8080/, all I receive is a nice 404 status!

Solved!
If anyone faced this same problem, just change the name of the .war to ROOT.war, and put it under webapps/ directory, it will work fine!
And If you are following the steps from Liferay site, as I did. At some point the tutorial will tell you to create a ROOT.xml, when you do that, just add the Context parent node, which, until the moment I wrote this, was not mentioned in the tutorial example's snippet.
My ROOT.xml:
[Cesars-Computer: apache-tomcat-7.0.32] $ cd conf/Catalina/localhost/
[Cesars-Computer: localhost] $ cat ROOT.xml
<Context path="" crossContext="true">
</Context>
Thanks and success to everyone,
