I have two list
1. Resgined Employee IDs
2. Employee details (It has Employee ID)
Is ther any way I can compare the column and delete resigned ps numbers records from Employee details list.
Is it possible without using code/programming?
Yes, you need to add column from Resigned Employee Id as a lookup column to Employee details.Then you can filter all records that have this column not empty and delete them.
You could use a workflow, running on the 1 list, have it trigger on item change (for example if position changed to resigned) to delete the item with lookupId equivalent to current items id.

I created a calculated column and concatenated the id with a prefix, but it didn't work as expected.
The reason was that whenever i upload a file, the formula in calculated field that contains the ID with the prefix is executed, then SharePoint creates the ID.
So, the ID is being calculated as empty and only the prefix is showing.
What I used:
=CONCATENATE(REPT("0",MAX(0,5-LEN(ID))),ID)
What i would like to create is a number field with a prefix (ex: 00001) that increments whenever a document is added in SharePoint Online.
In other words, it's like the ID column in a list but with a prefix of five digits.
Therefore, is there any solution for this problem?
Thank you 😁.
Using the calculate column formula, when creating an new item, the ID column and the calculate column are created at the same time, so the value of the ID column cannot be obtained, so the calculate column will be displayed as 0.
But you can solve this problem by creating a flow.

We have a saved search in place that displays date of first order and last order by customer & item within a given date range. For example - Looking at sales for May 2022 - today, it shows the item, the customer, the date they first ordered the item, and the date they last ordered the item.
I am now also trying to incorporate the quantity ordered on the first order.

I've tried the following, but keep getting an invalid expression. Can anyone advise on how I might be able to display the qty on the date of the first order?
MIN(CASE WHEN {custbody_reporting_ship_date} THEN {quantity} END)
and
CASE WHEN (MIN({custbody_reporting_ship_date})THEN {quantity} END)
I think this can't be achieved in saved search via simple formula. You may want to try below, what I will do is try to record the first and last order id in the customer record, then from customer saved search you can source from these order fields to the order details.
Create 2 custom entity fields applied to customer
first order id => Type:List/Record => List/Record:Transaction
last order id => Type:List/Record => List/Record:Transaction
Create 1 saved search to get the first order id per customer
Similar to the one that you created, the result field just need the customer internal id and min(document number) and filter need to add customer.internal id
Create 1 saved search to get the last order id per customer
Similar to the one that you created, the result field just need the customer internal id and max(document number) and filter need to add customer.internal id
Create 2 scheduled workflows, to update the first order id and last order id fields in respective customer record.
Create your first and last order customer Saved Searches using the 2 custom fields to source for the order details.
Not sure if this help.
I have a list of all orders placed in a time range and I am trying to calculate the difference between each customer's first and second order. I have a list of unique customer IDs on another tab and I already have the first order date for each. I need a way to grab the date of the second order, corresponding to each customer ID.
In the sample data below, the correct output of this formula for customer ID "153950" would be "5/11/17 8:41".
Use AGGREGATE()
=AGGREGATE(15,6,Sheet1!C1:C4/(Sheet1!A1:A4 = 153950),2)
The ,2 is grabbing the second smallest date.
We have an Xpages application and recently discovered an issue where there are several Notes documents that have duplicates but the duplicates are PARENT documents too and NOT response documents. Is it possible to create a Notes view that will show duplicates where all the duplicates are parents? I know the formula for showing conflicts is the following but what about where they are all parents?
SELECT #IsAvailable($Conflict)
Expounding on my comment:
Create a view which is categorized on the first column
In the first column formula, put in criteria that you would use to determine a duplicate. This may be the Document Unique ID, or maybe another field or combination of fields.
Add a second column that contains the number 1. Then enable column totals on this column.
Now look at this view you created. With the view categories collapsed, look for any number greater that 1 to determine which documents are duplicates.
I think what you are asking is not how to identify the duplicates - but how to find out which of them are parent documents. So basically you would create a view as Steve suggests - but instead of putting a constant of 1 into the second column I would suggest putting either #DocChildren (for immediate responses) or #DocDescendants (for all responses and responses to responses).
If I understand your logic then all the ones returning 0 (zero) are child documents and those returning 1 or higher would be parent documents. Of course you could also use an item on the document in your view formula - if it only exists on the parent doc (or its value can tell that it is a parent doc)
View selection formulas act on only one document at a time. They cannot perform lookups. They have no way to compare two documents. There is therefore no possible way for a view to identify duplicates.
A view can, as per the other answers, categorize documents based on common values. If there is a single field that is supposed to be unique across all documents, you can categorize on that field. That will give you a visualization of the duplicates, but it won't filter them in or out.
The only way for a view to filter duplicates - either to show only duplicates, or to exlude duplicates - would be if you run an agent that reads all documents, looks for those that are duplicates, and marks them with a special field value - e.g., IsDuplicate = 1. Once you do that, you can create a view that selects all documents with IsDuplicated = 1, or a view that excludes IsDuplicated = 1.
SharePoint Lookup field, what is it?
Please share, thanks.
It is a type of field used to indicate that the possible values of a column in a list must be taken from the elements of another list. For example, if you have a list of users, and one column of this list is the country, you can create a lookup field pointing to another list "countries" which contains the possible values to select.
If you think in terms of relational databases, a lookup field is a foreign key: you only store a reference to the related item, not its value.
For instance, you have a list of meeting rooms. You can create a meeting calendar by creating a new calendar list with a lookup to the "Meeting rooms" list. Hence, when organizing a meeting, you will be able to pick a room from the list of meeting rooms entered previously.
A "Lookup" differs from "Choice" field as you may alter the source item and the referencing item is updated automatically. For instance, you change the name of a meeting room - all meetings booked for that room will show the new title automatically.
