Main Menu in Orchard site Showing Twice - orchardcms

I have installed orchard from an existing database and its showing main menu twice in the front site. That's how it looks like in main site
I have confirmed it from admin navigation that menu has only been defined once.
what could be the problem?

It seems that in your existing database there are duplicate records. Try to see Content Types in admin panel.

SharePoint 2013 Page Layout Error

I'm really finding it difficult to set up a new theme for my SharePoint 2013 site.
I have uploaded all other files to the design gallery. But when I uploaded the page layouts, and I try to change the Content Type to Page Layout, I get the error below:
Sorry, something went wrong List does not exist.
The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.
Technical Details
Correlation ID: ce2b429d-0147-d0c2-bc23-32b039f7d8a6
Please what can I do to resolve this?
Thanks.
I got it working by disabling the publishing feature under > site settings > Site Collections Feature > SharePoint Server Standard Site Collection features
Deactivate
Reactivate
Rebooted the server (probably could have done an IISReset but
overkill!)
Now I can add layout pages under master pages gallery.
In the browser, go to your site, and on the Site Actions menu, click
View All Site Content, and then click the Pages document library.
Or you can browse directly to
http://your_site/pages/forms/allitems.aspx, where your_site is the URL
for your site, such as fabrikamweb/finance for the
http://fabrikamweb/finance subsite.
The Pages document library is created automatically by the publishing
feature and contains all of the pages in a site that are created from
page layouts. You can look in the Page Layout column to see which page
layout was used for a specific page and then click the link to view
that page in the browser.

show administration theme when editing page in drupal

I am using a custom theme for the front end of my drupal website.I created it by modifying garland theme. And I am using garland as the admin theme.
When I try to edit a page from admin it shows the edit page with my custom theme (http://example.com/node/2/edit?destination=admin%2Fcontent%2Fnode). And It breaks up the layout.
I want to show the admin theme for all the admin tasks. This problem also occurs on the blocks page (http://example.com/admin/build/block).
Is there any custom module or core hack to show admin theme when editing pages.
If you want to use admin theme by non-admin users you must give permissions to that user: Permitions->System->View the administration theme
Be sure that you check the option in the page example.com/admin/settings/admin
To get the admin theme showing for non-admin users, I went to admin/people/permissions/list and checked the "View the administration theme" box for all roles.
Sounds simple except that the Filter list wasn't showing that entry when I typed theme, so it took me awhile to find it. Finally I used the browser find to find all instances of the word "theme".
Or, you could type "System" in the Filter list to show only a few options in the relevant category.
You can use admin theme module, download and install it , the go to permission in dmin/people/permissions then in Administration theme set permission to waht user you want by checking Access administration theme.
Then goto http://chapboo.com/admin/appearance in bottom of the page in custom page add
admin/*
node/add/*
node/*/edit
and finally clear the cache
You have to check the checkbox under:
exemple.com/admin/appearance

How to get Site Icon to properly update in Sharepoint 2010 Web Part Page

I'm working on creating a reusable and extensible web application in SharePoint 2010. I've created a master page to apply across all pages in the site. However, whenever I create a web part page and navigate to it, the site icon does not display. Instead of my custom site icon being displayed it shows the default SharePoint icon. I can get around this by placing the icon directly into the master page, but that would require me to create a new master page if I ever wanted to extend this web application.
Does anyone know why this is happening? My initial thought was that the web part page had somehow been customized to not use the default master page, but that does not seem to be the case: if I update the master page it is reflected in the web part page.
Googling around and checking this site yielded little answers. I only found one post out there that reported the same issue I am observing but there was no solution.
If it helps, I did notice one phenomena when navigating to this page. Before the page completely loads, the correct site icon appears for a split second before being replaced with the default site icon. Hope that helps.
I ran into the same issue this morning and didn't want to create a custom master page just for this, but luckily it was quickly resolved by following admlcrunch's suggestion (on SharePoint 2010):
Go to the desire page
Click on the "Page" tab at the top
Click on the "Title Bar Properties" at the right (in the ribbon)
In the Image Link section on the right, paste in the image URL
Click OK
The only bad thing about this is, you have to update every Web Part page that you want custom icon image to display.
I was just having the same issue. Web Part Pages have their own icon that you can set.
To set the icon click Page > Title Bar Properties. This will open the Web Part Page Title Bar dialog. In this dialog there is an area to set the Image Link. You can set the icon here. I just copied the URL to the site icon.
Open the page in designer and remove the custom titlebar place holder:
[WebPartPages:TitleBarWebPart]
from the :
[asp:Content ContentPlaceHolderId="PlaceHolderPageTitleInTitleArea"]

SharePoint 2007 Publishing site with deep menu structure

I am a beginner in SharePoint and I need to create publishing site that will have multilevel menu. Requirement is that levels will not be fixed and that client should be able to add pages and customize menu.
If I am not mistaken pages can be created only in the first level under the site. I don't see something like folders concept. For the navigation purposes I can add heading and it will be shown as another level. If I need more levels I need to create sub sites.
Site
Page1
Page2
Heading
Page3
Is this correct?
Site
Page1
Page2
Sublevel_1
Page1_1
Sublevel_2
Page2_1
Sublevel_3
Page3_1
...
Can I do something like this without creating SharePoint sub sites ?
If I don't need I will skip writing some custom menu control or write custom SiteMapProvider. I will than need to write UI for managing navigation also.
EDIT:
I have managed to create Folder in Pages list and create (actually move) pages to that folder and even create sub folder but they are not showing on the menu not even in the navigation settings page. I can't approve folder, it is in pending status what ever I try.
I looks like this is not possible by the Andrew Connell: Subfolders are not Supported in the Pages Library in MOSS Publishing Sites
Out of the box, you can modify the navigation for a Publishing site manually.
I assume that you are after a more automated way to do this. Unfortunately, the way to modify the navigation for a PublishingWeb is through the object model and the PublishingWeb.CurrentNavigationNodes object, which would require a timer job or some other method to update as pages are edited/added/deleted.
This is non-trivial and you will still need to create a solution/feature package.
The other way is to create a custom navigation provider.
The issue with both of these options (aside from the actual coding and release) is caching the navigation structure. We have used the standard web cache for the object holding the navigation structure, but using the standard user browsing (i.e. the menu code itself) to kick of a refresh of the navigation is fraught with threading issues.
You can create multiple document libraries in a site and then put the pages in the various libraries. That way you wouldn't need to create sub-sites

Page Layout does not appear in the page layouts list

I have a feature that deploys a few site columns, a content type (inheriting from Page Publishing Content Type) and a page layout based on my content type.
Everything is fine on two tests, performed on different servers, but on the third server, although the feature is being activated correctly and I can see the site columns, content types and the page layout in the galleries, I cannot create a new page based on my page layout because the page layout does not appear in the list of available page layouts.
On all tests I have used the administrator account.
Does anybody have any thoughts on possible reasons for this?
Thanks.
Did you have a look at the "Page layouts and site templates" page under Site Settings? On this page you can enable an option that limits the available page layouts to a specified list of page layouts.
I have worked on a project where we needed to limit the page layouts available on a custom site definition. We implemented this in a feature, that enabled the "limited page layouts" option and populated the list of available page layouts upon activation.
If this is the issue you are having you could simply turn off this option in the web interface or add the new page layouts manually, but you could also consider implementing a feature receiver that automatically adds your custom page layouts to the list of available layouts.
Thank you all for your answers.
What actually happened is that the page layout was, for some reason, deployed as a Master page and not as a Page Layout. The admin has manually changed this and now it works.
This is just an educated guess but check to see if the Page Layout is waiting to be checked-in or approved.
In my case the path for the layout was wrong so the layout itself ended up in a different location, when I corrected that i was able to see the results.
I had added files manually and it did not appear.
When I edited properties of that layout page from UI and saved it, it appeared.
