I am using SharePoint 2007 and I have a calendar web part in a sharepoint site for which I'd like to customize the view. To be more specific, when I choose the "Current Events" view, it lists the events with three columns: Title, Start Time, and End Time. My question is:
1- Is it possible to somehow customize these columns, for example to show only date and start time?
2- Is is possible to set the view to only show the events in the current month in the first page and when you navigate with Next and Previous buttons you move between months?
More on this is that when I use Next button and then go back with Previous button the items in the list changes and it shows past items too.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

In SharePoint 2019 I create a calendar by going to: Settings Wheel > Add an app > Calendar
How can I then create a list view for the calendar? Can this be done by going to Calendar > Edit List, then creating a new view with the list view format? If so, how?
Or do you need to create a seperate page and add the calendar to that page as a web part, then edit that web part (or something similar)?
By list view I mean a vertical list of calendar items that span from today's date to 12 months in advance. However, I am less concerned with the specifics of the date range and more concerned with the basic how to. Thanks.
If you've been using Modern views and pages, the SharePoint calendar is likely very confusing because it still uses the "classic" view, even if the entire rest of your site is using the Modern UI.
Go open your calendar list to its default view.
In the upper left-hand corner, click on the small "Calendar" tab (see screenshot)
This will bring up the calendar "ribbon", and from there you have multiple View options to either edit the current view or create a new one (see screenshot)
For more details on List View creation, see https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-change-or-delete-a-view-of-a-list-or-library-27ae65b8-bc5b-4949-b29b-4ee87144a9c9#OfficeVersion=2016,_2013,_2010 -- be sure to not actually look at the version of this page for SP2019, as it assumes you are editing a modern list.
I'm trying to create an powerapps app for audits. These audits have multiple questions and I want to create a screen where the user can awnser multiple questions in 1 screen. But all questions have to be linked to the audit. So if a question is already filled in it will display the awnser and is able to edit this if needed.
Every question needs to get a grade (1-10) and a description of the awnser.
I already have a detail screen for the audit itself with the base information. idealy i want a button that can go to the questions and fill them in. I'm using multiple sharepoint databases to store the information. So i would like to store the awnsers here as wel. For the awnsers i made a seperate database linked to the audit and the question.
I also have a database for the information of the audit and one for all the questions.
So my question is how do filter a gallery based on the audittitle? and also how do i save this information easily in the sharepoint envoirment
Screenshots could have clarified the problem in a better way, but as much as I could understand from the problem subject, here is a solution to "how-to-filter-a-powerapps-gallery-based-on-previous-screen" :
When you have lots of fields in previous screen which is required for filtering.
You can store the values on previous screen either in a sharepoint list (by submitting the forms from previous screen ) and then fetching them to filter content ( by having a gallery inside a gallery)
OR
When you have less number of fields.
You can simply store the values in variables by using Set(a,box1.text) ((where a is the variable name and box1 is the input box) function on navigation to new page ( by putting this in Onselect menu) and then using it in the filter command.
Here is the steps to filter a gallery from the value coming from previous page.
put a button on the screen from where you want the value
on select property of the button put this code
Navigate(screenName,screenTransition,{variableName:valueToFilter})
Now on the Items property of Gallery put below code
Filter(datasource,columnToFilter = variableName)
Note that this variableName should be the same as above.
This will filter out your data in gallery.
For your 2nd question:
Create a list in Sharepoint which will have all the questions/fields.
Connect this list to your PowerApps app
insert a form on a screen.
add your Sharepoint list as a data source to the form
insert the button on the same page as form
onSelect property of button put this code
SubmitForm(formName)
I have created the Outlook Web Add-in project and trying th create the dropdown menu by following the link under
https://github.com/officedev/outlook-add-in-command-demo
It seems that dropdown menu just take static list. What i want to do is i have webservices which is returning some destination and link of that destionation . I want to display the list of all those destination under the dropdown and by clicking one of it, it opens the link into task pane.
Any tips ? how to display from webservice in dropdown menu.
It is not currently possible to dynamically populate the dropdowns, your best bet would be to have a single taskpane action, then render a selector page that dynamically shows the available options, then navigate to the page associated with that option. I am building a share point site wherein I am trying to get multiple calenders in a single view. I have been able to overlay/merge calenders but I am unable to make the select/unselect of a calender from a set of merged calenders seamless.
Explaining using the feature from google calender - basically, when using multiple calendars in google calender, the calendars menu is on the left. clicking on each individual calendar will hide the calendar if it is already displayed or show it if it is hidden.
In sharepoint clicking the calendar in overlay view opens that particular calendar. what I want to achieve is a view where all calendars are overlayed and can be shown or hidden by a simple mouse input.
Has anyone done this before? Any pointers? Thanks
I have built a webpart that basically displays all the items in a SharePoint list based on a set of criteria.
One of these criteria's is a date, a year specifically. The user is supposed to select the date from a dropdown list in the web part and the view area below will populate with all the items from that specific year.
That part works. The SPQuery grabs the data just fine and displays it in the format desired. The issue I am having is with the autopostback option on the dropdownlist.
It doesn't remember the current selectedindex, it remembers the PREVIOUS selected index. If I chooes 2014, the page loads but nothing changes, if I then choose 2013, the 2014 stuff appears, if I then choose 2010, the 2013 items appear, if I go back and then select the 2014, the 2010 stuff appears. It's always 1 behind and I have no idea why.
I've tried assigning a ViewState variable in the SelectedIndexChange to remember what was selected, but that too always seems to be one step behind. I can't seem to get the CURRENT selected index.
Does anyone know what's going on here?
Your question is more ASP.NET problem than SharePoint. Check MSDN to see page life-cycle. New values of controls are available after the onLoad event of Page. So just move your code to e.ge. onPrerender event.
