My Target OS is windows XP: 32 bit .NET 4.0.
Also Same dll works for windows 7 and other so I think there shouldn't be dependency problem.

As far as I can tell, targeting windows XP is supported from VS 2012 with any update. You just need to make sure the project targets a version of the .NET framework that is supported on Windows XP. (.NET 4 or earlier)

Control panel > Programs and Features > view installed updates > uninstall the update you want under the Visual Studio 2012 category.
That being said, I have no idea if this solution is actually something you need to do or will fix your problem. It is simply about how to remove the updates. It sounds like you may just need to download the latest .NET framework for XP.

I cannot execute my gtkmm-app any longer in visual studio 2012. It compiles fine but when executing it crasches. I get the error message that MSVCP100D.dll is missing.
I made this app in visualstudio 2010 last spring. OS was windows XP. No problem whatsoever.
Now I have visualstudio 2012 and windows 8.1 and get this error-message.
I dont know what to do? Is there a way to install MSVCP100.dll in the system-folder or could something be done in VS 2012?
I may underline that I just encountetred this problem when compiling and executing my gtkmm-app for the first time since the platform change and IDE-update. Ordinary console-applications no problems whatsoever.

You are getting this error probably because you changed your compiler.
What you can do is to either recompile gtkmm with current Visual Studio or download pre-compiled binaries and rebuild your application.
Option 2 is to install Visual Studio 2010 back and forget about Visual Studio 2012.
If you want both latest Visual Studio and gtkmm 3 then...

We developed an application in visual studio 2010 and reports are working fine, when we choose to open the same application through visual studio 2012 Ultimate, reports are not working and when i open .rpt file showing binary format ad also I could not find Crystalreport.rpt in Reporting template in visual studio 2012. After googling it, I have installed
CRforVS_redist_install_32bit_13_0_5 , but doesn't work.

I had the same problem after installing visual studio 2012 and found no answer on the forums. I uninstalled CR yesterday and downloaded again the CRForVS 13.0.5 from here just in case there was a bug in the previous version I downloaded in may and installed it. Then I installed update 3 for Visual studio and everything works fine now.

From SAP Crystal Reports's download site:
Please note: To integrate "SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft > Visual Studio" you must run the Install Executable. Running the MSI will not ? >fully integrate Crystal Reports into VS. MSI files by definition are for runtime >distribution only.
By default Windows 10 does not install the 3.5 framework, CR for VS still needs >it. Select it by "Turn Windows feature on or off" and choose both options.
I downloaded the exe, instead of the MSI packages, and it worked for me finally. Helps to read I guess.
I'm using Visual Studio Professional 2012 (with Update 2) and since I have a project that needs to be built with the VC++ 2010 toolset I also installed Visual C++ 2010 Express (with SP1).
I use the newer 2012 IDE also for the older projects. So for these projects I set the Platform Toolset to v100. And when I also set the runtime library to /MT or /MTd I get the following error:
error LNK1127: library is corrupt
for libcpmt.lib or libcpmtd.lib, depending on the configuration.
What could be wrong here?

If I understood correctly, you installed VS2010 after installing VS2012? If not, please edit your question to make it clear.
This sequence of installations is not recommended by Microsoft, and there are plenty of caveats and ReadMe's to navigate in order to find out what's happened.
I suggest that the best thing to do is to reinstall VS2012 (or do a repair install), then see what - if anything - is still broken.
Is there any way to customise which languages are installed with Visual Studio 2012? I only want C#, no VB or F# etc.

According to those links they [Microsoft] removed then brought back the option for customization. And what you see there is all you get. I know my installation of VS 2012 (upgraded express to ultimate) is only taking up 2 gb so IDK why it is saying it needs 6.

In the Visual Studio 2012 RC, I can't install Web Developer Tools properly. None of my ASP .NET MVC project will load in VS2012, and I can't create new ones. The option for ASP .NET MVC projects is simply not there, as shown below.
Furthermore, I can't pick any other framework than the .NET Framework 4 and earlier. I can't seem to pick .NET 4.5, but that may be because it's just an addition to .NET 4.0. That I don't know.
I'm running Windows 8 Release Preview, which should have .NET 4.5 RC installed already, so that shouldn't be the problem. Furthermore, if I click "I want to download more .NET redistributables", I'm taken to a site which says that Visual Studio 2012 RC has that included already.
I can't seem to download MVC 4.5 and install it separately. This is because they claim that it's included already in VS2012 as well.
When I try to click "Modify installation" in my Visual Studio 2012 RC installer, I see the following.
What's interesting here is that "Web developer tools" is never checked. If I check it and click "Update" and reboot, it's unchecked again, and it seems as if this whole feature is missing. I suppose that's really the cause of the problem.
I tried reinstalling Visual Studio 2012 RC entirely by first removing it, then rebooting, and then re-installing it. Running a setup repair doesn't work either.
I have managed to find no other examples of such a problem so far anywhere.

I just found another weird symptom. Whenever I want to make a "Windows Metro Style" application, it doesn't work either, coming up with this message.
Like I said before, this may indeed be because it's not detecting that I have .NET 4.5 installed already, but I'm not sure. All I know is that I can't pick .NET 4.5 from the frameworks list at all.
On the ISO, I extracted the packages/WPT folder. Inside are all of the installers for the Web tooling components. I uninstalled and then reinstalled everything that had vs11 in the name and it worked!
