Attempting to create an install with a page similar to this using the components wizard page with text similar to this
! [page style] http://grahamskaraokesystem.com/toolbar.png
I can put mulitlines in the toolbar description but then the check mark is centered on the description text. I also can't seem to figure out how to bold the text in the description.
I've come a long way with stackoverflow help but I have got a long, long way to go.
Thanks for your help.
#Tlama I found the answer from one of your other excellent explanations at Control for showing multiline content in inno set up installer

I've added the "Launch program" checkbox on the final card of the installer, but for some reason WiX is placing the checkbox below the custom bitmap instead of on top of it with the other text. Can someone point me in the right direction to getting the checkbox directly below the other text instead of below the background image?
I followed the tutorial on this page to add the checkbox: https://wixtoolset.org/documentation/manual/v3/howtos/ui_and_localization/run_program_after_install.html
I came across this page on the WiX toolset docs. Basically, it says that the checkbox with the grey background is a common complaint and there's a workaround mentioned, but not a way to remove the background.
And a common complaint: no, the checkbox can't have a transparent background. If you have a bitmap in the background, it will be ugly, just like in our example above. The only workaround is to reduce the width of the checkbox to the actual box itself and to place an additional static text (these can be made transparent) adjacent to it.
EDIT (for completeness): It looks like my initial guess on what was going on with the bitmap image wasn't accurate, based on the above-quoted page. Closing this as answered.
Question
Is it at all possible to change the color of the text highlight in Eclipse console to something more visible in Manjaro Linux? Your time and help are both much appreciated.
Important notes
I am using the default GTK theme. I do not want to use a different theme.
For testing, I have tried using a different theme, but that didn't help.
Problem
Currently, I am stuck with a barely visible light grey text selection in Eclipse console in the following two scenarios:
When manually selecting text
When using the Find\Replace... search function

Looking into and changing these settings did not help:
I once ran into the same problem and used the gnome-color-chooser to resolve this issue.
You have to change property selected_bg_color value in your current GTK theme gtkrc file. I am using Ambiance theme.
So my setting are:
cat /usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0/gtkrc | more
gtk-color-scheme = "base_color:#ffffff\nfg_color:#4c4c4c\ntooltip_fg_color:#000000\nselected_bg_color:#f07746\nselected_fg_color:#FFFFFF\ntext_color:#3C3C3C\nbg_color:#F2F1F
0\ntooltip_bg_color:#f5f5c5\nlink_color:#DD4814"

I want to know if is possible to change the width or depth of feeling of a GroupBox lines created with NSIS Dialog Designer.
I have reviewed the options provided NSIS Dialog Designer and have not found anything I can use for this.
I hope it covers some style altering functions: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=297157
How can I scroll past the last link in a HTMLComponent? I am using LWUIT 1.5.
Moreover if the link spans over multiple lines, it stops on the first line, so the whole link is not visible.
HTML file for testing: http://bit.ly/uJ8RbN
UPDATE: The issue is here http://java.net/jira/browse/LWUIT-487.
Any workaround tips before the issue gets resolved?
Scrolling past the last link works properly in our test cases although its always possible there is a bug in the HTMLComponent implementation. If you found such a case please file an issue in the lwuit issue tracker in the LWUIT website and include the HTML that triggered the problem. The same probably applies to the long links issue.
A simple solution is to add an empty button to the end of the form, format the button to look like the background, without borders etc. This way after the HtmlComponent there is still a button that doesnt have focus but allows you scroll to the bottom.
I am working on SharePoint Branding project, where i need to change the whole sharepoint look and feel according to Clients design guidelines/Visual Designs.
happy part, most of the branding is done but still i am facing problem with SEARCH BUTTON of sharepoint. Ia m not able to replace this default button with my designed button.
any direction ll be great help
What we did was replace the delegate control of the search button with our own, using a feature. In that feature we specified our custom image for the button.
This might help - http://labs.steveottenad.com/reskin-restyle-a-sharepoint-2010-search-box/
When we customised the search box we hide the default img for the search button using css and replaced it with a new background image.
You can't replace the default button with you own search button. You can however customize it to your needs using CSS styles. I have done the same thing. You can create your custom style to override the styles from the corev15.css file.
Create you custom styles css file, reference it in your page layout and just use it.
Hope that helps.
