Trying this again.
First of all, I apologize for my ignorance-I have never used Netsuite before. I recently started at a company that has been using Netsuite. Their site is already set up and in my job I have to edit the site on a daily basis. The hardest thing I have discovered so far is the lack of instructional information online for Netsuite and the organization. I am trying to change out or delete an rollover image on the side navigation bar. I can find all of the images for the initial navigation and their corresponding rollover image, but cannot find any of the subcategory images that come off these. I cannot find where these are set up either in Netsuite.
If I delete the image, will it disappear from the navigation bar or cause an error?
I've tried looking through the source code of the home page, but no luck there. Any suggestions on how to figure this out on a site already set up?

Okay so I'm using sharepoint online and the site I'm developing is pretty much done. There's only one issue, the icon.
I can change the site icon to the company logo with ease, but seemingly at random it just switches back to the previous icon. I've had a look in the site assets folder and it turns out every time it happens the previous logo is re-added to the folder and set as the site icon automatically.
I have no idea why this is happening and need to fix it quickly as it is the last issue.
Maybe it's an easy fix? May be something to do with the group that it's attached to? Maybe there's a way to overwrite it using CSS?
Any tips or advice?
I managed to solve the issue.
The logo was synced with the office 365 group that the sharepoint site was linked to.
I went into Outlook and deleted the group photo, then changed the site logo again and it hasn't changed since.
I am trying to create a dashboard via SharePoint and I would like to create a section beneath a displayed document where users can type and submit a description of what is going on in the document above. I don't want the users to be able to edit the site page in order to add text to the page so I believe the best solution would be the creation of a web part where a user can create and submit their desired description. The only web parts that I've come across to do something like this are the Note Board web part and the Microfeed web part. The Microfeed part seems too much like a social media page. My problem is I would like to try the Note Board web part but whenever I insert it on the page it never displays an area to type in, just the title "Note Board".
So it seems that this problem came up because of the way my account is related to this particular SharePoint site that I am editing. My account doesn't have a profile attached to it essentially and the way that these notes are shared and stored directly relates to having one of these profiles. The Note Board Web Part turned out to be working perfectly fine my account is just not capable of posting within it. (I figured I'd answer incase anyone else comes up with this problem.)
Right now I have an HTML file and I'm trying to convert it to a master page. I'm using a VM on CloudShare.
So I create a new site collection and go into the site settings. Under “Look and Feel”, Design Manager isn’t there so I’ve found that if I go to “Site Collection Features” under “Site Collection Administration”, and activate “SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure” Design Manager will show up. So I go into design manager, but under Edit Master Pages none of the file or folder names will show up, and when I convert the html file the status column doesn’t show up either, so I can’t go to preview it or to the snippets gallery.
The only thing I can find online is to create a new site collection, which I’ve tried a few times. This happened on my old CloudShare VM, and creating a new site collection fixed it, but it’s not working for this. Can anyone help?
Personally when working with new master pages I have found that the best application to use is SharePoint Designer. You should be able to download it for free. Here are the instructions to configure SharePoint designer using it with CloudShare.

Figured it out - I made a new site collection and set it to a Publishing site template and it fixed the issue.
I was wondering if someone has had a similar requirement before. What they want is a link that on the main site that would point to a different document contained within a document library every week. So week one it would be "document1.pdf" and week two it would be "document2.pdf" and so on. Is this possible for the navigation that is contained in the left hand side of a sharepoint site? Can a link be tied to a lookup? Any help would be appreciated!
You can create some redirect javascript within the Content Editor webpart. host it on a page and add a link to the page on the navigation.
This is by far the fastest way to get what you want.
Make sure to follow the advice here to be able to edit the page once you set the redirect.
I followed this post:http://blog.mattsampson.net/index.php/2010/12/13/quick-launch-on-new-web-part-pages?blog=1 which edits some 14 hive templates to remove all the code that hides the Quick Launch. I used notepad++ to search all the files when I'd finished and I've definitely deleted the code.
But when I create a new Decision Meeting Workspace I still get no Quick Launch on the page. Oddly enough I do get a quick launch showing on the page when I go into the Site Settings Page showing:
Site Content
Agenda
Attendees
Decisions
Document Library
Objectives
Tasks
Please check the content place holder for the same is not set as hidden in master page
