Upload rich text editor result to windows azure - azure

How can I upload html content to website - I need to specifye internet address in my desctop client and I dont know what address should I type - this
publishUrl="ftp://waws-prod-am2-001.ftp.azurewebsites.windows.net/site/wwwroot
or something else. How can I list site content? Is there any microsoft text editor exist - than it will be easier to publish using publish profile.

Now sure what desktop client you are using. Based on your above info it seems you are using Windows Azure Websites so I will give you simple idea to upload HTML content from FTP client.
What you really need is install a FTP client in your desktop (i.e. FileZilla) and then setup your Azure Website FTP location.
Please follow my blog below to setup your FileZilla FTP client first:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/avkashchauhan/archive/2012/06/19/windows-azure-website-uploading-downloading-files-over-ftp-and-collecting-diagnostics-logs.aspx
Once your FTP client is configured and you can see the Website folder you can just drag and drop HTML files from local machine to Windows Azure Websites.

How do I host a website on VM running Tableau Server?

I currently have an Azure VM running Windows Server 2016 hosting my Tableau Server. I want to add a simple website to the server through IIS that I can share files with my clients via a direct download link (e.g. a URL that would allow them to download a zip file, www.mycompany.com/file.zip).
Currently, when you visit my URL, it takes you to the Tableau Server instance. The website I want to add would basically be a subdirectory of that URL that hosts a file I have for my clients. So if my clients went to www.mycompany.com, they would be taken to my Tableau Server. However if they went to www.mycompany.com/files/, they would be allowed to download what ever file I attached to that URL.
I created a website under IIS Manager, but for the host name I am not allowed to use forward slashes. E.g. I want to create the website with the URL www.mycompany.com/files/, but have to use www.mycompany.com instead. I'm assuming I cannot use www.mycompany.com for my host name, as that would conflict with my Tableau Server.
How then do I create a website in the manner I am describing? Or is it possible to somehow create a subdirectory within Tableau Server's structure?
You can add virtual directory under website which host name is www.mycompany.com.
Set physical path, alias to files. Then you can access it through www.mycompany.com/files.

Azure: Multiple FTP Sites

I've made an FTP site through IIS using the DNS Name I was given when I signed up, but I want to set up multiple FTP sites on the same virtual server. How can I do this?
Also, the one FTP site I set up can't be connected to through anything other than an FTP client - I can't connect via IE / Chrome or Windows Explorer.
There is no multiple FTP account support for Azure App Service (formerly known as Azure Websites)
I am able to use IE to FTP to my site. what error do you see? Make sure you enter your credential and not login as anonymous user.

Manually deploying Umbraco website on IIS - dashboard, js and css not working

I have an Umbraco website with an SQl db. I backed up the DB and imported it on the SQL server on the server here. I then copied all the files of my umbraco folder and placed them in a folder on the server here as well.
I then made an 'application' in IIS and gave it an 4.5 application pool (integrated). I linked it to the folder on the server where all of the files are.
When I browse to the site I get to see all the content, also the dynamic content from the DB, but none of the mark up is applied. If I add /umbraco behind it to access the dev dashboard I just get a white page.
I have only been working with it for 5 days and am new to umbraco. IIS on the local server here has no web deploy installed and FTP is also not an option. I developped the website with Webmatrix and web deploy & FTP are the only two publish option it gives me.
Is there something I did wrong or how can I get the website to work properly here?
Umbraco needs to run in Full Trust mode. Make sure that your IIS is configured for Full Trust.
On Features View --> .NET Trust Levels --> Full (internal)

FTP access into Azure where there are two Websites

I have 2 web sites in my Azure account and I would like to access the second one via FTP, however, when I load up the FTP site I am getting the FTP area for the first site and I cannot see any data for my second site.
My first site is a straightforward web site, but the second is an Orchard template. I was expecting to see the Orchard folder structure when I accessed the FTP area but seems only the first site is accessible via FTP.
I have looked at other threads about setting up your own FTP but I would like to avoid doing that until it is absolutely necessary.
So my question: Does anyone know if the Orchard website, generated by Azure, is accessible via FTP, or to get access can I safely reset the credentials from the dashboard on the second website so it has its own FTP area via an individual set of credentials?
I believe the username you use for FTP should be <web site name>\<username>, so you should already have different credentials for the two sites. Can you confirm you're using the right credentials to try to access the Orchard site? Check the "deployment user" on the right-hand side in the portal and make sure you're using that.

SFTP with SharePoint when live over the internet

We are using MOSS 2007.
We are about to make one of our SharePoint sites live over the internet but we wants the file upload/download to be SFTP. Is this possible in SharePoint, if so how can this be done? Must it be done through custom code (Please provide me with an example) or is there a setting somehwere where you can turn uploads and download of the site to SFTP?
Thanks in advance!
Well SharePoint does not use FTP at all. It's files are being stored directly to database so there is no need for FTP.
By default it uses HTTP/HTTPS for file upload/download from web and WebDAV in case you are using multiple upload / explorer view.
In case you want to protect your files I would advise publishing your site via HTTPS only.
As Toni said there is no FTP or SFTP server in SharePoint (these are very different protocols).
SFTP is based on the SSH protocol which provides a similar kind of protection to what HTTPS provides. So you may be able to meet your needs by using HTTPS. You can configure this in Central Administration.
HTTPS is a lower level protocol than HTTP, and will protect both SharePoint HTTP and WebDAV traffic.
If you must use SFTP for some reason (for example integration with Unix-based systems perhaps) then you would need to run an SFTP server on the same server as SharePoint and create some mechanism for transferring these files into SharePoint. The file download process will not by fixed by this approach.
