TYPO3 multidomain - cross-domain

I've got a question about more domains in TYPO3.
I'd like to build a tree which has 2 domains.
If I load the first url, I would like to load the first site,
If I load the second url, I would like to load the second site.
The domains are stored in each site.
Is it possible to do this without using the .htaccess file ?
Does somebody has a tutorial or help for me ?
Thanks

Look at http://wiki.typo3.org/Multidomain
No, you don't need special .htaccess directives.

1) Create page and make it as a root page.
2) Add domain for your root page.
3) Edit domain and give path of your site to domain.
And there is no need to do anything in .htaccess

It's very easy to handle multiple domains using typo3.
3 steps:
Add the site address to DNS.
In typo3 backend, create a "domain record" at the root page of the site "aaa" as aaa.com and another domain record at the root page of the site "bbb" as bbb.com.
Update the domain root page templates with the below typoscript:
config.baseURL = aaa.com # in the first domain's root ts template
config.baseURL = bbb.com # in the second domain's root ts template
Note: You can also add one more domain record in each domain's root page for redirecting to
www.aaa.com and www.bbb.com using the domain record options.

Just point another vhost/alias to this directory. Domain records handles it all.
Don't forget to check realurl config - sometimes there's need to configure it's settings in different way to every domain.
Important - if you share records between domains (eg. tt_news) you have to make identical config for it's postVarSets for each domain. If not, realurl will generate links as ugly hashes.

How can I point multiple domain names to the same GitHub Pages site?

This seems like it should be a trivial task but isn't proving to be one for me...
How should I go about pointing multiple domain names to the same GitHub Pages hosted site?
Example:
I have created an account named test on GitHub and created a repository test.github.io
I bought test.com
I configured test.com's DNS as below
I have told GitHub Pages to enforce https and look out for custom domain test.com
My site is now live on test.com and www.test.com, woohoo!
DNS Config for test.com:
A # 185.199.108.153 (github's nameserver)
A # 185.199.109.153 (github's nameserver)
A # 185.199.110.153 (github's nameserver)
A # 185.199.111.153 (github's nameserver)
CNAME # www.test.github.io (for www redirect)
I would ALSO like example.com (and a few other domains, foo.com, bar.com and foobar.com) to redirect to test.com
How do I do this?
With an apache server, this would be easy, be GitHub Pages only supports static sites.
Any ideas?
As always, thanks for any suggestions!
The ideal place to have this redirect is your DNS provider. You can redirect foo.com, bar.com, etc. or whatever you want to test.com. Alternatively, if you happen to use Cloud Flare, forwarding can easily be setup from there too.
But if you don't want to do that and insist on using Github only, refer to this answer. What you can do in this case is create another repository (other than test.github.io) with same contents and link it to another domain such as foo.com. You can use Github Actions or something to sync your changes from main repo to the others.
Of course, the only drawback of this method is that for every domain you want to link, you'll have to create an additional github repo.
I've accepted #Prahlad Yeri's answer from above, and am just leaving this here so that other's who stumble onto this question can easily figure out how to do this... As mentioned "The ideal place to have this redirect is your DNS provider"
To do this with domains purchased from domain dot com it is VERY simple, and even INSTANTANEOUS! I can imagine with GoDaddy or other providers it will be similar.
On Domain dot com's control panel:
Log into account for the domain you wish to redirect
Go to "Pointers and Subdomains" on the left sidebar
Choose either "URL Standard" or "URL Stealth" from the pointer options, then enter the desired redirect URL in the "Directory" field
Press Save and you're good to go, immediately!
URL Stealth means that your URL will remain as what the user has typed in, and URL standard means it will display the URL of the site that you've directed to. More documentation on pointers and subdomains (for domain dot com) can be found at domain.com/help/article/domain-management-how-to-update-domain-pointers

How can I forward a subdomain to another domain but follow all pages

I need to setup a sub domain to point to a certain part of another website, for example
Swindon.ukontheweb.co.uk to point to - http://ukontheweb.co.uk/location/england/wiltshire/swindon/
But I need the sub domain to follow all links not just a forwarding, so when you click a link on the Page it will show like this - Swindon.UKontheWeb.co.uk/ all pages of site
Baisically need the Subdomain to forward to new sites page but Subdomain to remain in Browser and follow links so Swindon.ukontheweb.co.uk/ anypage of new site.
I am new to this so I hope someone can help
You must have already created A record for subdomain in domain panel.
In your hosting panel, you simply have to point document root for your subdomain to the directry you mentioned.
It will not be forwarding but be working like you require.

Prestashop multiple domain names

I have a Prestashop store in www.theafricantouch.com.
I also have multiple domains pointing to the same DNS and same folder: .us, .fr, .de, .es, .co.uk, .net...
In the SEO and URLs configuration page of my prestashop backend, I set www.theafricantouch.com as the main store domain.
My goal is when an user from france uses theafricantouch.fr to visit my store, the browser always keep the .fr extension of the domain in the URL field.
Now, doesn't matter from where an user is entering, it always replaces the .fr, .es... extension with the .com
Is there any way to keep the extension?
Thanks,
Jonatan.
Check out the "Multi Store" function, I'm sure you gonna find what you're looking for.

Please notice all your domain should be with the same hoster or this solution won't work.

Cakephp .htaccess : multiple domains pointing to one app

I am working on one cakePHP application.
Now i want to configure my main domain (www.example.com) to be accesses via 'www.xyz.com' or 'www.bcd.com'.
For this i will add the CName record in the 'www.xyz.com' or 'www.bcd.com' as 'www.example.com' then xys.com & bcd.com will point to the example.com.
But now on the xyz.com & bcd.com i can see the content of example.com, but whenever i click on any link it gives me 'URL NOT FOUND' Error.
So i tried lots of .htaccess rules but it is not working.
It is similar to the bloggers custom domain pointing. I need the same thing to be applied for my application.
Can anybody tried this before?
This isn't entirely an .htaccess issue - you need to first edit the server name in your web servers configuration file to serve not only example.com, but also requests coming in from xyz.com and bcd.com.

Linking a subdomain to a drupal "virtual path" using cPanel?

I've created a page at
/forum
So if I open:
www.mydoman.com/forum
Then i can see my forum. But note, there is no FOLDER "forum". When you open "/forum" a paramteer is passed to Drupal saying that you are now accessing the forum. These rules are set up by the .htacess file.
So my question is, how can I create:
forum.mydomain.com
to show the contents located at www.mydomain.com/forum ?
The answer to your question comes in two parts:
a) you must first set up your cPanel to permit serving pages for forum.mydomain.com from the same set of files as www.mydoman.com
This involves using a "Parked Domain" on that cPanel account (i hope your cPanel account has privs for this). You may or may not need to place a symbolic link on the server, so that the parked domain is equivalent to the original domain.
http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/AddonDomains
http://support.hostgator.com/articles/cpanel/what-is-the-difference-between-parked-addon-and-subdomains
b) next up you need to change your Drupal deployment to a multisite set up (i.e. create a subdirectory in sites/ with the name forum.mydomain.com and in there use a settings.php file that is identical to any you might have in default. Having done this, you should be able to set the homepage value for that site to be /forum via the variable that controls the frontpage
$conf['site_frontpage'] = "/forum";

This module will help you take a look.
Automatically creates subdomains and places content on them. There are 4 modes:
User: e.g. "Mary" and content atmary.example.com
Taxonomy: e.g. "Seattle" and content ateattle.example.com
Organic Group: e.g. "MyGroup" and content at mygroup.example.com
Content type subdomains: e.g. "News" content at news.example.com
