What is the difference between "smart client application" and "rich Internet application"?

PyRevit / RevitPythonShell Custom Tools - How to disable Alt-Click "View Code" functionality?

I've begun developing some tools for my firm using RPS and thus would like to know how to disable the alt-click "view code" functionality as shown in PyRevit. I've gone through the documentation and scoured the web but I haven't seen any kind of solution provided. Has anyone come across anything?
Any tips or tricks/workarounds are appreciated.
There is no option to disable the Alt+Click functionality unless you are willing to create a custom pyRevit core for your use only. Here is where the check happens

What's the recommended browser for Confluence?

Is there a browser that supports all the Confluence features best?
I know that IE doesn' support Drag and Drop, but what about other features?
check https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Supported+Platforms
scroll down to "web browsers - desktop"
As webwesen's answer says, all browsers listed on the supported platforms doc should be usable with Confluence.
My personal experience is that using Chrome is a good bet, since most of the Confluence development team uses Chrome day-to-day (or at least they did when I was in the Confluence team). However, Chrome doesn't have a built-in WebDAV client which means that Confluence's Edit-In-Office features do not work. If this is important to you, then I'd suggest Firefox with the Office Connector Add-on installed.

Can I connect a WAMS to both a Windows Store app AND a WP8 app?

I just created my first WAMS (pipe down - no hysteria, please).
When I'm in the WAMS management area, though, it wants me to "Choose Platform," with the options of "Windows Store", "Windows Phone 8", and "IOS" (meh).
I want to choose the first two platforms, not just one of them. Is that possible, or will I need to create one for my Windows store app, and another one for my WP8 app?
That screen is somewhat misleading, you only need one service that's accessible from any platform. The context of "Choose Platform" here is to create a quick-start app (note the graphic above with the text "Let's connect it to an app") that will use that service. You can select any (or all, on multiple visits) of the three platforms and get boiler plate code to show you how use WAMS from those specific platforms, but the service you're targeting is the same.

what are the major Difference between ordinary notes applications and a Xpage applications

I am new to Xpages application,
can any body tell me what are the major Difference between ordinary notes applications and a Xpage applications, so that i can understand and start from the bassics if any body helps.
Thanks in advance.

That's a very high level question.
You can create web applications using XPages. XPages "is based on web development languages and standards including JavaScript, Ajax, Java, the Dojo Toolkit, Server-side JavaScript and JavaServer Faces" (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XPages).
In order for you to start with XPages I will suggest that you read the following book:
Mastering XPages: A Step-by-Step Guide to XPages Application Development and the XSP Language
I will also suggest that you look at the available resources and videos on XPages.info.
Have a look at my blog post on available resources for XPages too:
http://per.lausten.dk/blog/2012/02/learning-xpages-available-resources.html
There's also a whitepaper on maximising the benefits of Domio 8.5.3 with XPages http://www.intec.co.uk/update-whitepaper-maximising-the-benefits-of-xpages-in-8-5-3/
Basically, it allows you to develop for browser and Notes Client with a consistent interface. In my experience, after the learning curve, developing for web in XPages is significantly quicker than developing for web in traditional Domino. The Extension Library reduces the time further, as do resources from OpenNTF. Plus with the Extension Library you can develop for mobile browsers using XPages as well.
There is a browser plugin coming in 8.5.4 which will allow traditional Notes Client applications to be used from a browser. However, I doubt you'll get as nice a user experience from that as you could get from XPages.
I would say Partial Refesh, Works on almost any device and Speed.
go to http://www.tlcc.com/admin/tlccsite.nsf/pages/free-xpages-training and we (TLCC) have a free course that introduces you to XPages and explains what they are as well as gets you started on your first XPage.

Is there Rich Media Support API for iPhone Applications ?
The term "rich media" is commonly used to describe "a broad range of digital interactive media" . For up to date view of available (built-in) support for audio/video formats and related technologies available to developers of iOS (iPhone) applications check out:
