NoClassDefFoundError in j2me - java-me

I have build a jar file and trying to use it in j2me application. I have included the jar in the build path and imported the required classes as well. But when I run my j2me application I am getting NoClassDefFound Error in the line where I am trying to instantiate the class which is present in the jar.
I can instantiate the classes of the jar in the java project but not in j2me.

It specifies that class file present at compile time is not found at run time.Check for build time and run time classpaths .

Finally able to solve the issue.
The problem was not in the code. It was due to the compilation issue.
First of all To solve the NoClassDefFoundError , I had to right click on the project and in the build path-> order and export -> check the jar that you have added.
Later while running I faced classFormatError 56.
The jar file which was created, was compiled using 1.6v.
And the j2me application was getting compiled with 1.3v.
I had to recompile my library project with 1.3v and create a jar out of it and used it in the j2me application.

You cannot pass a Cucumber Scenario object to a TestNg configuration method. The AfterMethod will be called by TestNg and will not be able to inject the Scenario object. Either use the After annotation of Cucumber and pass the Scenario object.

TextArea is not updating while zip extraction

I am working on a JavaFx application, there i have a script that extract a zip followed by some other operation like updating files etc.
I want to have a textArea that displays whats going on in background, like "Zip extracting...", "Updating xyz file" etc.
Till now i have tried following way:

I have tried using updateProgress method, Platform.runLater() but nothing is working.
All the message i printed in textArea are printed after all operation is done.
Please help.
As javadoc for Task states you need to manually create a Thread to execute your Task:

Currently your task is being run on Application UI thread and blocks UI updates.

Native Interface for J2Me device Codename One

I want to call the javax.microedition.io.PushRegistry registerAlarm method, but my Codename One J2ME build fails saying:
error: cannot find symbol

I added a midp_2.1.jar to the native j2me directory, but it did not work.
How can I get this to work? Or how can I directly access j2me alarm API?
Don't add the jar, it will get packaged into the final build.
Try setting the build argument j2me.ashaNative=true.

Debugging Package Manager Console Update-Database Seed Method

I wanted to debug the Seed() method in my Entity Framework database configuration class when I run Update-Database from the Package Manager Console but didn't know how to do it. I wanted to share the solution with others in case they have the same issue.
Here is similar question with a solution that works really well.
It does NOT require Thread.Sleep.
Just Launches the debugger using this code.

The way I solved this was to open a new instance of Visual Studio and then open the same solution in this new instance of Visual Studio. I then attached the debugger in this new instance to the old instance (devenv.exe) while running the update-database command. This allowed me to debug the Seed method.
Just to make sure I didn't miss the breakpoint by not attaching in time I added a Thread.Sleep before the breakpoint.

If you need to get a specific variable's value, a quick hack is to throw an exception:
throw new Exception(variable);
A cleaner solution (I guess this requires EF 6) would IMHO be to call update-database from code:

This allows you to debug the Seed method.
You may take this one step further and construct a unit test (or, more precisely, an integration test) that creates an empty test database, applies all EF migrations, runs the Seed method, and drops the test database again:

I know this is an old question, but if all you want is messages, and you don't care to include references to WinForms in your project, I made some simple debug window where I can send Trace events.
For more serious and step-by-step debugging, I'll open another Visual Studio instance, but it's not necessary for simple stuff.

CLLocation manager throws after ~30seconds

The exception is saying you should not call base.Failed in the overridden "Failed" method.
