Seems that you do not have J2ME SDK installed on your computer.
Download it and install on your computer.
After that specify the location of installed J2ME SDK in your Netbeans project "Platform" settings.
Also make sure that Java/bin folder, where javac.exe located is specified in the system PATH environment variable.
I also experiencing this problem using sun wirless toolkit but my solution to this problem is somewhat irrational. When I'm going to run the application I disabling all my network adapter, LAN, WLAN even Bluetooth if you have but still I don't think that it will solve everything. You can try to do this if you wish but not suggesting the best way to do.

So in order to fix this, I just disabled the Camera by switching the option from Emulated to None and that was all.
Don't ask why this works, but it seemed to solve it for me.
Install Android SDK Platform tools. if already exist uninstall and install Android SDK Platform tool in ubuntu 20.04
Seems a GPU issue, try :
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall
Or (or both) change graphic emulated performance to software if your emulated device allow it.

Though not directly affected by the error you described, when stuck at this point (namely, when supposed to be connecting back to the ADB server, but can't), this can be a result of a corrupted quick-boot snapshot.
What worked for me is to hard-delete the existing quick-boot snapshot, and have the emulator regenerate it on the next run.
To delete the snapshots:
rm -fr ~/.android/avd/<AVD name>/snapshots/default_boot
To regenerate the next snapshot, rerun the emulator as you normally would, then kill it after if full loads. But first, make sure that it is configured for saving a quick-boot snapshot on exit:
Edit quickbootChoice.ini, for example:
vi ~/.android/avd/<AVD name>/quickbootChoice.ini
The only line there should be:
saveOnExit = true
If you wish to see whether any of this is likely to help you before making any changes, run the emulator with the -no-snapshot argument applied, beforehand. For example:
$ANDROID_SDK_ROOT/emulator/emulator -no-snapshot #Pixel_API_29 &
(Or find a way to do this through Android Studio)
A note regarding other answers here that advised configuring the camera differently (which seems unrelated): It is very likely that changing the camera setting, for the Emulator, is considered a configuration change - which ends up in forcing a cold-boot (i.e. skipping usage of the quick-boot snapshot), which can explain why it works (but with no voodoo involved).
Trying to create a new app on react-native. 'react-native start' command gives no error. But I'm not able to see my app on the emulator. Can anyone help me in figuring out the problem. I'm new to react-native.
Are you using a Macbook or Windows? For Windows, you will have to use an Android emulator, thus you will need to download Android Studio, and the Android SDK.
For Mac, you will use the IOS emulator, you will need to download Expo in that case.
Also you could try using the create-react-native-app instead. I built a project with 3 other buddies in two weeks, we found that it had the most reliable boilerplate and is really good for beginning with react-native.

*** Big caveat with create-react-native-app is that it won't matter what OS your computer has. If you have an apple phone, you just run "npm run ios" then scan the QR code with expo. If you have an Android phone like I had...you will run into a few issues where you need to set the phone to USB debugging mode in the developer's settings, download the USB debugging driver for your phone's model, ensure both your phone and computer are on the same wifi network, install expo, and finally be able to run "npm run android".
I was the only one on my team developing with an Android phone, so if you need advice on that, feel free to ask.
Some extra information about create-react-native-app is that it allows you to code for both Android and IOS phones by using the same project folder, rather than having to adjust settings for one platform at a time.
That has it's pros and cons for sure and there will be little differences in how one platform functions over the other...so my recommendation is to build for one platform at a time, focusing on whichever one you are testing on.

I am trying to load the SDK for Vuzix through the SDK manager in Android Studio but for some reason it will not display the downloads in 'SDK platforms' and 'SDK tools'.
In the 'SDK update sites' tab next to the Vuzix link I added there is a red exclamation point that displays " cvc-elt.1.a cannot find the declaration of element 'sdk: sdk-addon' " when hovered over.
I am new to SDK's and have no idea what to do for this error. I've downloaded the android SDK's and sources for 26,25,24, and 23 thinking it could help but the error still shows up.
I still don't know what the error means but I solved it by connecting to my hotspot instead of my work network.
So my guess is it was a firewall issue or something, if anyone else has this error.
This means that the parser does not know the namespace. I tried it on Win7 and android studio 2.3.3 with the same result.
I tried it without the namespace or running android studio with oracle sdk. Both failed.
At the moment I try to run it on a virtual linux machine. Android Studio 2.3.3 will parse the addon xml file and download the files.
On Win7 I installed them manually, but they were not really integrated into to system and I stucked when I wanted to use the barcode SDK. maybe I am able some day to add simply this jar lib -
On a first look using linux seems to be the solution. But than I run into problems with the case sensitve file system. The vuzix SDK seems to need a linux system on a case insensitve file system.
*facepalm* and I am quite sure that i will fail at all. On linux a simple GUI compiles only against API 26 without errors.
I've just downloaded Eclipse on elementary OS and attempted to launch it. After doing so, I saw the loading screen for a few seconds before it disappeared and left me with the desktop. Since then, my computer (an old Dell with 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core Duo) has been very unresponsive and the disk activity indicator is almost constantly lit up. I've been looking at the desktop for around 30 minutes now! How can I solve this problem and launch Eclipse?

First, you might review your installation steps. If nothing is obviously wrong, check the following:
check for any error logs
check that you're using the proper Java version
make sure that there's enough memory allocated for Eclipse (see the eclipse.ini file)
as a last resort, try reinstalling it

NOTE: You may have to find the right Java and install it "by hand" rather than relying upon the distribution's package manager. You can "point" Eclipse at the right Java by editing the .ini file.

First off, I think I've been to every website and forum there is that's discussing this issue and I've tried many different things. I'm at my wits end. This is the dumbest thing and I just want to start coding again!
I'm using Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Desktop. I have a x64 project I'm trying to run in Debug mode using the local windows debugger. The only external library I'm using is that of which is required to run DX11.
I attempt to run my program and it freezes. A window pops up saying "A remote operation is taking longer than expected."
I click Terminate and another window pops up asking if I'd like to terminate the remote session. Why yes, I would.
Then it says, "Unable to start program (my path leading to my .exe). The network connection to the Visual Studio Remote Debugger has been closed."
To my understanding, because Visual Studio itself is a 32 bit application, it needs to use the Remote Debugger to compile to x64. Is that correct?
Regardless, I'm still failing to see where that would break down. I've ran several repairs on VS and upgraded to Service Pack 2 (or 1, whichever is the latest).
I've ran a windows repair and uninstalled any VMWare type stuff on my computer. I'm not using a VPN.
I've even copied msvsmon.exe from my laptop (working instance of the project) over to this computer and still no luck.
I'm about ready to Nuke my OS and do a clean install on everything. sigh
Found the problem. It wasn't Windows Firewall like other threads describe. It was my internet filter. I guess it decided to try and block msvsmon.exe because it was using the network. Adding it, along with WDExpress.exe to the application exceptions list did the trick.
