How do you load a picture into smalltalk? I have found several examples of how to display an image once it is a class resource, but can't find a way to import the picture into my smalltalk environment. (I use the word picture to avoid confusion with the smalltalk image)
To load an image as a class resource, the following code should be executed in the workspace.
ImageReader imageFromFile: 'picture.bmp'
toClass: Namespace.MyClass selector: #AccessMethod
where
'picture.bmp' is the image file you want to load,
NameSpace.MyClass is the class you want the file to be a resource to,
AccessMethod is the name of the method called to return the picture.
One possibility for Squeak would be:
HandMorph attach: (SketchMorph fromStream:
'https://squeak.org/img/features/morphic.png'
asUrl retrieveContents contentStream).
(This used to work for Pharo, too, but seems to have been removed.)

This worked for me in Pharo 7.0:
ImageReadWriter formFromStream: './assets/player.png' asFileReference binaryReadStream
Afterwards it can be transformed with asMorph.

I've spent the last two hours trying to figure this out, but nothing I've found online helps. Either all search results I've found were severely outdated, not relevant to my problem, or didn't work.
I am a complete beginner to Python, so please try to make your suggestions/solutions/answers understandable enough for me (i.e. draw them in crayon if you must.:)) I want the init method to not autocomplete all of this:

I want it to simply autocomplete as "init()" and that's it, nice and clean for what I'm currently doing.
Searching around, looking at other python snippet extension files, and even using a snippet generator, I've
found that this should be the code that I should use:

I've created a global.code-snippets file and even a python.json file with Configure User Snippets, both of which are located in C:\Users<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\snippets. However, it does not show up when I type out init, instead I still get the default suggestions:

What am I missing? I didn't think this would be so difficult.
I've looked at https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/editor/userdefinedsnippets, I've tried https://snippet-generator.app/, I've checked out other Python snippet extensions to see how they were written out.
A bit more digging around and using different keyword searches this morning brought me to IntelliSense in Visual Studio Code, and 3/4 of the way down there was Suggestion selection which said to use the editor.suggestSelection setting. Turns out it was disabled. Once I enabled it, both my python.json and global.code-snippet suggestions showed up.
I am new to ML and W&B, and I am trying to use W&B to do a hyperparameter sweep. I created a few sweeps and when I run them I get a bunch of new runs in my project (as I would expect):

However, all of the new runs say "no metrics logged yet" (Image) and are instead all of their metrics are going into one run (the one with the green dot in the photo above). This makes it not useable, of course, since all the metrics and images and graph data for many different runs are all being crammed into one run.
Is there anyone that has some experience in W&B? I feel like this is an issue that should be relatively straightforward to solve - like something in the W&B config that I need to change.
Any help would be appreciated. I didn't give too many details because I am hoping this is relatively straightforward, but if there are any specific questions I'd be happy to provide more info. The basics:

Update: I think I figured it out.
I was using the train.py code from the repository I linked in the question, and part of that code specifies the id of the run (used for resuming).
I removed the part where it specifies the ID, and it is now working :)

This is a great package for Bayesian optimization of hyperparameters (especially mixed integer/continuous/categorical...and has shown to be better than Spearmint in benchmarks). However, clearly it is meant for Linux. What do I do...?
First you need to download swig.exe (the whole package) and unzip it. Then drop it somewhere and add the folder to path so that the installer for SMAC3 can call swig.exe.
Next, the Resource module is going to cause issues because that is only meant for Linux. That is specifically used by Pynisher. You'll need to comment out import pynisher in the execute_func.py module. Then, set use_pynisher:bool=False in the def __init__(self...) in the same module. The default is true.
Then, go down to the middle of the module where an if self.use_pynisher....else statement exists. Obviously our code now enters the else part, but it is not setup correctly. Change result = self.ta(config, **obj_kwargs) to result = self.ta(list(config.get_dictionary().values())). This part may need to be adjusted yet depending on what kind of inputs your function handles, but essentially you can see that this will enable the basic example shown in the included branin_fmin.py module. If doing the random forest example, don't change at all...etc.
I'm new to Intel RealSense. I want to learn how to save the color and depth streams to bitmap. I'm using C++ as my language. I have learned that there is a function ToBitmap(), but it can be used for C#.
So I wanted to know is there any method or any function that will help me in saving the streams.

I'm also working my way through this, It seems that the only option is to do it manually. We need to get ImageData from PXCImage. The actual data is stored in ImageData.planes but I still don't understand how it's organized.

I would like to include common resources into two of my applications. Rather than using a DLL, I figured I could include common resources at compile/link time by making use of a .RC2 file.
I've added a load of BITMAP entries as follows to my .RC2 file
IDB_CHECK BITMAP DISCARDABLE "\NewGUILib\res\bmpCheck.bmp"
My .EXE definitely increases in size when the .RC2 file contains these bitmaps. However, when I try to use the resource IDs in my application (CBitmap::LoadBitmap( id )), the functions fail. LoadBitmap( IDB_CHECK ) returns zero. However, if I use a resource added to the .RC1 file via Visual Studio, that works.
Is there something else I need to do to use these .RC2 resources??
OK, I found the answer to my problem. The problem is that I didn't have any resource ID's included in the .RC2 file. In the example above IDB_CHECK was not defined. An error or warning during resource compilation would have been useful.. but.. I guess I expect too much.. All sorted.
