Is there shortcut to comment multiline in Excel VBA - excel

After selecting the lines that needed to be commented out
should click on comment block enter image description here
Is there any shortcut to select it / uncomment without using mouse ?
Any way to uncomment block with touching the mouse

There isn't a default one that I know of, but you can customise the toolbar button(s) so that they show captions as well, and then by prefixing a letter in the caption with an ampersand (eg Co&mment block), you can then use Alt+m to trigger it,

How to search a text using Enter key in blue prism

I have a search box where I can enter the search text however there is no search button next to it. So we use to press enter button after enter the search text in text box.
Please advise how to handle this in blue prism. I have tried using Global Send Keys however the focus moved out of the search box hence nothing happening
If the mouse focus is inside the text box then you can see a 'X' mark inside it
If I use the global sendkeys then the mouse focus is outside the text box as below
To go about this issue, I would first try to set the focus on the field, by sending a Global Mouse Click Center (not just focus) to the Textbox.
Next, send the "{ENTER}" or "~" key to the Textbox, using Send Global Keys.
I would assume that if that doesn't work, you have spied the container of the Textbox, not the Textbox itself somehow.
Alternatively, as a last resort you can also choose to send a Javascript command to the webpage, in order to trigger the form submission. This can be achieved by using the Navigate stage on the Application Model's top element (highest in hierarchy).
Good luck!

Find and replace within selection in sublime text 3?

I've read this thread indicating how to find and replace within selection in ST2. Despite reading this thread but still cannot figure out if it's possible to do a simple find and replace within selection in ST3?
Ensure the find and replace panel is closed.
Select the text in which you want to perform the find/replace - i.e. define your selection.
Open the Find/Replace panel - if desired, you can use a keybinding to run the show_panel command by going to preferences -> keybindings, then adding this line to the user keybindings: { "keys": ["ctrl+shift+s"], "command": "show_panel", "args": { "panel": "replace", "in_selection": true } } to ensure that the "in selection" mode is active and skip the next step. (see the forums for more available args.)
Turn on "in selection" mode if it is not already active by clicking on the button in the panel.
Enter your find/replace terms and perform your find/replace
If you want to change the selection you are searching within, you will need to close and re-open the panel.
If the region/selection you are searching within always contains multiple lines, you may want to consider setting the following preference for convenience:
// When auto_find_in_selection is enabled, the "Find in Selection" flag
// will be enabled automatically when multiple lines of text are selected
"auto_find_in_selection": true,
Select the word by pressing CMD+D it selects 1 from whole file and show transparent selection of all related word you can press more times CMD+D for selecting all word then edit it all words take places
You can (using ctrl-h, then toggling the 'in selection' option from the dialog), but it's a bad design IMO. Firstly, if you have an area of text highlighted when you request 'replace', it should assume "replace in selection" automatically. Secondly, as soon as you choose 'replace' it thoughtfully cancels the text selection for you. The whole process ends up involving cumbersome repetition, or an illogical sequence of steps. Visual Studio gets the UI design right; Sublime does not.
Searching and/or replacing within only a selected area in Sublime is indeed possible.
If you have text selected, once you open the Find or Replace panels, you can select the button for Find in Selection (which is turned off by default unless you have the auto_find_in_selection turned on and select multiple lines) to have the operation you carry out only apply to the selected area.
In this example I'm doing the following:
Pressing Alt+F3 to select all instances of the word to, showing how many of them there are
Select the first paragraph and then open the Find and Replace panel with Ctrl+H
Turn on the option to operate within the selection
Replace all instances of the word to with the word FROM
Show that the instances of to outside of the selection are still there untouched.
Select the line/word/code and Press Ctrl+d.
Matched piece of text will be selected and will have cursor after them.
You can edit them together.
Ctrl+h is the shortcut for 'Copy and Replace' in all versions of Sublime.

Highlighting Text With Keyboard Between Limits On Sublime Text

In Sublime Text I can highlight text between specific locations by holding down shift and clicking the start of the region I want highlighted and then the end.
How do I do this with just the keyboard?
Method 1
Explore the commands in the Edit > Mark submenu.
Move your cursor to the start of the desired selection and run Set Mark (Ctrl+K, Ctrl+space).
Then move your cursor to the end of the desired selection and run Select to Mark (Ctrl+K, Ctrl+A).
Method 2
Or, as noted in the comments, hold down Shift as you move across the desired selection (using arrows, etc.).
Try the key command Ctrl+Shift+End on Windows when you are at the beginning or in the middle somewhere of a document. This works with any program.

How do I allow user to select, but not edit, text in an excel userform control whose width is smaller than the text?

Context
I want the user to review some selections they made earlier. So I display some text describing each selection on a separate control in a userform. Some of the text on the controls is long, extending beyond the width of the control. This is fine; I just want the user to be able to see all of the text without being able to edit it. To do this, I use textboxes that are "Locked" (i.e. not editable) but "Enabled" (i.e. selectable). This way, they can just click and either mouse-drag or arrow-key over to scroll through all the text.
Problem
The (small, aesthetic) problem is that when the user clicks in one of the textboxes, they get a blinking cursor, which is misleading as that is normally associated with an editable textbox.
Possible solutions
Ideally, there would be some way of removing the blinking cursor, while still allowing selection but not edition. However, I'm open to other alternatives that don't have to do with changing the width, or having a scrollbar (the textbox is too short to fit a scrollbar). The best alternative I have so far is changing the background color to a gray to make it slightly more clear that it's not editable.
P.S. I'm very familiar with VBA, so if that's part of the solution, I'm cool with that.
Thanks all!
I had a similar issue, and solved it by using these instructions to create a hidden textbox that the cursor automatically appeared in (invisible to the user).

Excel editing command button name not changing

When I am editing command button and I go to the top left corner to change the name of the command button it allows me to edit the text and change it but when I press enter or click somewhere the name of the button keeps reverting back to the original name.
I've tried also tried making sure design mode is selected as well, and the command button and the sheet do not have any protection on either
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.
I had a very similar problem. Solved! My problem was that I would create an ACTIVEX button, and using the properties, give it a customized name (changing CommandButton1 to something much more descriptive)... then later, upon saving and re-opening the excel, some of these buttons (not all) would revert to CommandButtonX.
The whole problem was THE LENGTH OF THE NAME. My names that failed would be around 39 chars or more (somewhere around 39). Using the selection objects pane under the Excel "Find and Select" menu item, I observed the ones that would fail vs succeed.... comparing what I would change in that pane with control properties (Name) and the excel "sheet Name Box" in the upper left area of the sheet screen.
When we have to rename the command button, you can use properties and namebox. But the purpose to change the appearance of button, you have to go to
properties->caption. In caption, you can rename button's appearance.
