logstash - cannot install filters - logstash

I have below issue,
I have installed newest logstash 7.16.3 and in my corporate environment I spotted that cannot install some filters.
./logstash-plugin install logstash-filter-elapsed
Using bundled JDK: /usr/share/logstash/jdk
warning: no jvm.options file found
ERROR: Something went wrong when installing logstash-filter-elapsed, message: Socket closed
I think that there can be related with some ports closed.
Can someone help me with that ?

Getting the following error when doing an NPM install (NJS-054)

While trying npm install I get NJS-054 error which is related to the oracledb client. However, the code works just fine when on the local machine. Could anyone help me with the error?
It seems that your machine can't find GitHub host.
Map GitHub IP to github.com at the hosts file:
hosts file location on Windows: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
140.82.118.4 github.com
Installing node-oracledb 4 no longer needs GitHub access so installing will be easier.
Regardless of the install problems, version 2.3 is very old so you should consider upgrading. You may need a new Node.js release: 8.16, 10.6, 12 or later.

setEncoding Error when Serving OpenFin on MAC

I am seeing Fatal error: Cannot read property 'setEncoding' of undefined on my Mac when running through the OpenFin tutorial here => https://openfin.co/create-your-first-application/
It's happening when calling > grunt serve.
This bug was fixed on the latest version of the openfin-launcher, please re-install that package:
npm install openfin-launcher#1.3.3
Additionally change the version form "stable" to "beta" as Mac support is still experimental.

Clearcase client installation issue- Linux RHEL5

I am not sure if it is the right place to ask this question. I have been trying to install clearcase client 8015 on a new machine with RHEL5u8 image. Tried googling a lot but could not resolve the issue as per suggestions on other forums.
It gets installed successfully. (As per the prompt)
listing of the views is done properly. (cleartool lsview)
When I do cleartool mount -all,
cleartool: Error: The MVFS file system is not installed or not loaded,
or the 'viewroot' is not mounted or is inaccessible: not a ClearCase
object.
logging in as root then starting clearcase, executing "/opt/rational/clearcase/etc/clearcase start"
OUTPUT:-

I have followed all the steps in /var/adm/rational/clearcase/mvfs/mvfs_src/README.txt but still cannot achieve anything.

Cannot proceed with installation, cannot uninstall either to try another version of clearcase, tried googling for the version mismatch of IBM installation manager but could not find anything addressing the issue properly for Linux.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? I am new to clearcase tool.
Usually, when I see only snapshot views are supported, and MVFS (for dynamic views) hasn't installed properly, I uninstall everything and try the all process from the start again.
In your case, that means installing or downgrading the IBM IM Installation Manager to the right version (similar to this issue).
It can be an IM update issue, as seen in this technote.
Further to #VonC's comment re: incompatible IM install,
review the following doc: MVFS not loading after kernel upgrade or is missing after installation on Linux.
I encountered a similar problem after an incompatible kernel path / ClearCase version. In my case, the error was similar to what is documented here in the post MVFS not installed - RHEL6 and I had to edit the kernel source to the same as the patch and rebuild. Then things stared up fine.
Review also the link How to manually restore a pre-built MVFS on Linux.
If the corresponding kerenl level is not provided it will not start and you will have to patch and make your own.

How to install libjpeg-turbo8 on Ubuntu 12.0.4

As suggested by Google, I'm trying to get http://jpegclub.org/jpegtran/ working on my Ubuntu server, but I'm getting the error:
"jpegtran: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
A Google search told me to install (via apt-get) libjpeg-turbo8, however apt-get can't find the package. My own Ubuntu computer (running 12.0.10) can find the package just fine.
I tried installing http://sourceforge.net/projects/libjpeg-turbo/ with no luck.
Am I doing something wrong or have I missed something? How do I get jpegtran working?
This question may be old, but i was trying to run the glassfish updatetool and it failed because of the lack of the libjpeg library.
Steps i did take:
1. install libjpeg62:i386 (for 64 bit ubuntu amd6)
I hope it helps someone
