Azure and OneDrive friends,
I have the following usecase and need your help! Imagine there is an organization with Office 365 accounts and more specifically - the users utilize OneDrive, synchronized to local folders. We have a separate system running on an Azure environment. Is there a possible way whenever a file from any of the users is created / edited / synced in their local drives and respectively uploaded to the OneDrive... drive to trigger an Azure Function that lives in the Azure Environment from above?
Is there a way to set such triggers for all users (~150) from within an admin account?

Yes, it is possible, but I´d use a Logic App with the OneDrive connector in Azure: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/connectors/connectors-create-api-onedrive
I agree with #Jesus Hernandez. Use a Logic App that has a OneDrive trigger.

Our platform is UiPath Cloud Orchestrator with DEV/Test/Prod tenants. The Robots are hosted on Azure Windows instances for DEV / Test / Prod.
I created an UiPath App to upload an Excel file, store it in a storage bucket, then start a unattended process to read the excel file.
The UiPath app points and binds to the storage bucket and process in the DEV tenant.
I would like to deploy and migrate the UiPath app to point to the Test Tenant. It seems like that to point to Test, I have to change the app in the app studio to switch the pointers/bindings for the process and storage bucket and replace them and change or confirm the UI elements are correct.
Does anyone know if there is a better way to do migrate the app to another tenant for the UiPath apps?
It does not seem right to have to change the pointers this way. It only just allows us to point to one tenant at a time so hard to really have DEV/Test/Prod instances of the Uipath app without having copies of the app for each tenant.
I can export the app (.uiapp file) and import the file across Cloud platforms but not across the tenants without changing the name of the app. The .uiapp file seems to be a json format with the bindings in the file with specific ids etc. Changing the pointers and bindings here would be error prone as well.
I have looked through the documentation, the uipath academy training and the forums which do not provide an answer.

As your using the Azure Host, I'm assuming that you might be using the Azure DevOps for your packaging and publishing.

You can set the Tenancy level so that it's packaged for that specific tenant, can create any assets etc.
I have created an office add-in within visual studio code, I have published it on my Azure Storage Account, and via Centralyzed Deployment I've managed to install it for some users. The problem is that this add-in must be used by some clients, and there is no possibility that they'll use the addin stored in my azure account, and there is no possibility that they will create an account for me on their organization, in order for me to push data directly on their organization's azure account.
So what are the options? I need a solution where i send the office add-in as a zip or something like that, and the company's admin can easily upload that to its Azure account, and the manifest will point to their location. I've seen the possibility of downloading the addin from azure via ftp (without success yet), I imagine if i download that, there might be an option to upload for the client's company admin. Or am I on a wrong track?

For a particular customer, the IT team do not approve OneDrive and Box as source deploy repo. Box, Dropbox etc anyways is not fully supported for syncronizing using Azure functions as the API are at File events and not on folder events.
What would be the various alternatives, where customer staffs could work on 'n' static HTML sites by each BU team, deploy easily to Azure Storage using explorer or sort and how to have this update the webapp or webapp point to this Azure storage file share location ( whichever is easy and feasible )
Please suggest me any case studies or alternatives that I could explore for this scenario.

Why not a private repo in GitHub Business?
It even has drag and drop now (a la Dropbox).

Another options:
1-Write a simple c# console app that will use Azure SDK to deploy files to your Azure Storage Account. (You can use FileSystemWatcher to monitor a network folder, for example)
2-setup a CD infrasctructure using TeamCity (or any other tool), and during the after build call a script that will publish to your Azure Storage Account.
3-Take a look on Azure Files:

You could definitely use SQL Azure to host your SQL database. Other alternative would be to use a SQL Server inside a Virtual Machine.

Blobs is definitely the place to store files and folders though they don't support FTP. However there are many storage explorers available (both free and paid), using which you can upload files and folders from your local computer into Azure Blob Storage. Another alternative would be Azure File Storage.

Yes, it is possible. Please look into Azure Remote App Service.

You can't deploy a Windows Service application as is into a Worker role. You have to tweak your code a bit. Other alternatives that you may want to look into is hosting your Windows Service in a Virtual Machine (to the best of my knowledge, it should be without any code changes) or converting your Windows Service into a WebJob.
In addition to everything that Gaurav mentions and as he alludes to, you can also investigate Azure Files. You can mount file shares from any onprem application. Since Azure Files supports the SMB protocol, you can use standard file system API to interact with it.

I have hosted a MVC application on Azure using Cloud App service. The application has a document management module. Currently, I am storing the Documents uploaded by the user from application in Cloud App server. I have created a virtual directory which points to the Documents physical directory. The documents are stored in D drive. Whenever Azure machine reboots, my documents stored in the machine are lost.
What the better way of storing/retrieving files in an Azure hosted web application? Should I move my document management to Azure File Storage?
If you want to use normal Win32 API's for writing the file to storage then Azure Files is a great option - especially as it seems that you already have a working application. If instead you have control over how the files are written and don't mind updating to use Blob API's then you can also use Blobs.
