I have a use case where I am getting a document from S3 and I want to send it to docusign for signature. I have already implemented the piece where my code is getting the document.
I want to use the embedded signing ceremony for the same. Are there any examples of the same in Golang? I already have a sandbox account and have tested out the API using java.
Ay pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!
Jim Cote (who was featured as a spotlight developer) wrote a golang client library that he opened source here - https://github.com/jfcote87/docusign
I have not tried it myself, but you can always fork the code and make modifications as needde or ask Jim if he can help.

I have a Django website, and each account needs a DocuSign section where everyone gets the same document loaded/embedded but has their own name prefilled on the application and has the same 3 spots for signing. What API tools from DocuSign should I look into in order to accomplish this?
You can start by downloading the python code example. There are 31 API scenarios examples. You can reference API calls documentation in here. As it looks like you are going to use embedded signing a great place to read about this is here
I am trying to determine if a DocuSign envelope was wet-signed (i.e. downloaded, signed, uploaded/faxed) after I receive the notification that it was signed. For my project, we need to review wet-signed contracts before processing. I do not see a way in the REST API to determine this. When I call /v2/accounts/{accountId}/envelopes/{envelopeId}/documents, it comes back with list of documents and it says signature type is "electronic" even though I wet-signed it when testing. I am using a sandbox account, so that could be a factor. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Check the Envelopes::listAuditEvents API method to see if it provides the information you need.
I need steps/procedure for recipient to sign via nodejs application using template.Currently i am using the docusign node sdk.I would like to embed the signing into the application (Embedded Signing) through the API rather than opening DocuSign in another window.
I'd suggest you take a look at the DocuSign Recipes. The Recipes include node.js code samples for "send a signing request with a template (via email)" and also for "signing from within your app" -- between these two examples, you should be able to get code to accomplish your objective. If you're unable to get it working using those examples, then edit your post above to include your code and ask for feedback. (You're more likely to get help here on SO if you post your code and say "this is what I've tried..." than if you just expect someone to provide you the complete solution.)
new to programming on the web so bear with me.
I've figured out that OAuth2.0 (the authorization protocol used by Gmail) is used for applications where Site A is given permission to information in Site B (in this case Gmail) by User X.
I am trying to create a website that updates when I receive an email from a specific sender. So, I am not using any of my website users' email information. I'm only using my own. I cannot seem to figure out (or even understand at a high level) how to permanently give my website access to my gmail account without doing some kind of user authentication on myself. What is the high-level process for giving my website this permanent authentication?
Let me know if I can make this clearer. Thank you in advance!
I've never done what you are trying to do, but you may find some useful answers here :)
Getting e-mail ID of sender while fetching mails from Gmail
I hope this helps if not I'm sorry. :)
UPDATE:
After reading that link a little bit more there are parts of it where they are getting the sender. You can always write a code to compare the sender by implementing what you need from that link. :)
So I want to use Dice.com's API to grab data for an infographic type application.
http://www.dice.com/common/content/documentation/api.html
My problem is they require a Developer ID and password. I'm not sure where I can get this since it's required for the OAuth token.
I plan on using Node.js to make requests to their RESTful service. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I emailed dicemedia#dice.com (email grabbed from http://www.programmableweb.com/api/dice-jobs) and got a reply:
Thanks for your interest in the Dice API! It's currently not available
for public use. We've been field testing it at some events and hope
to open it up by the end of Q2 2015.
We'll definitely make an announcement when it opens up.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
I found it pretty easy to get started hacking around with this using Postman (actually for searches you could just start in a browser, with a JSON plugin installed or the like).
