Android Studio All Files are marked Non-project files - android-studio

Suddenly all my files are marked brown (non-project-files)
The Error message looks like this when I start Android Studio:
All I did was a Flutter update to v1.12.13+hotfix.9, but the error occured just now.
Furthermore, the lib package moved.

Run flutter clean then try again it should work then

Gradle Distribution URL issue in Android Studio

Facing error -"The specified Gradle distribution 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-6.5-all.zip' does not exist." when I'm running android studio normally.
But if I start the android studio as administrator above error is not coming.
I tried deleting the .gradle and .idea file and restarting the android studio, but same error is coming.
So, after trying out lot of solutions on stack nth helped and sort out this problem. Eventually, I had to restore my android studio to default settings. So, that how my problem was resolved.

The specified Gradle distribution 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.2-bin.zip' does not exist

In Android Studio, I am getting the following error when trying to run my app on an Android device:
The specified Gradle distribution 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.2-bin.zip' does not exist.
All my Android Studio projects are affected by this and restoring them to older commits does not change anything.
The problems all started by following the advice given here: Could not install Gradle distribution from 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-2.1-all.zip'
I deleted everything in my /.gradle/wrapper/dists/ folder. Now, I get the above error and I do not see how to solve it.
Here is how to reproduce it with Android Studio 2021.1.1 on Windows (but be warned: this might corrupt your projects, too):
Delete everything in /.gradle/wrapper/dists/
Create a new project "Test" in Android Studio (this might take a while, since gradle-7.2-bin.zip will be downloaded in the dists folder)
The project builds and runs without errors
Close Android Studio
Delete everything in /.gradle/wrapper/dists/ again
Open project "Test" in Android Studio
Try to run
Now you should get the above mentioned error.
At this point, /.gradle/wrapper/dists/ is still empty. Now you can do the following:
run gradlew tasks in Terminal in the Project Folder of "Test" (this will take a while, since gradle-7.2-bin.zip will be downloaded in the dists folder again)
run gradlew build (everything should build without errors)
But clicking on "Run" still yields the same error.
I am getting the impression that this is an AndroidStudio / IntelliJ bug.
Can anyone help me with this?
Running Android Studio as Administrator solved the problem for me
It turned out my Android Studio installation was heavily corrupted. Simply, uninstalling it and installing it again also did not help.
I basically had to do everything that was suggested here: How to completely uninstall Android Studio from windows(v10)? and delete everything related to Android Studio. I installed it again and now everything is fine again.
I do not know what the problem was. Maybe the .m2 folder, maybe the Jetbrains folder.
My advice to everyone facing the same issue:
First try around deleting caching folders. If nothing helps, go for the brute force approach and follow the answers (not only the accepted answer) of the above mentioned StackOverflow question.

Android studio falsely displays errors after analyze

Android studio 4.2 Beta 4 falsely displays errors inside the editor when this is none. For example it displays as error the sequences' function find or the Strings' function isNullOrEmpty.
But the build works as expected and on the Stable version of the android studio I do not have those highlight issues.
I have tried:
Deleting the studio's folder
Deleting users/user/.android
Deleting users/user/.gradle
Deleting project's .idea folder
Invalidating caches
Do you have any suggestions? I am running Windows 10 (20H2 Build 19042.746)
After visiting the Configure Android Studio page I got the idea to delete the following folder and everything works as expected now:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Google\AndroidStudio

Unknown Attribute Android: error on Android STUDIO 3.2.1

Things i have done to resolve this issue:
Clean Build & Rebuild
Deleted .idea file
Invalidated Caches/ Restart.. option
Turn On Power Save Mode.
SDk is up to date.
Sync Project with Gradle Files done.
Reinstall Android Studio done
recreate new project done
changed something in app Gradle file and synced the project again
android studio old version change also not help
Intellij shows to reset to default namespace, it will delete android namespace..
(In Project, Layout file corrections not reflecting into app)
Android Studio Version

gradle image
Intelij Solution
This worked for me
Close Android studio
Delete all files from
C:\Users\.AndroidStudio3.2\system\caches
C:\Users\.AndroidStudio3.2\config //not importent
start android studio
Ran into the same issue. Seems to be something specifically related to Android Studio 3.2. My solution on Windows was to delete everything withing the cache/ folder in the .AndroidStudio3.2/ folder.
This problem happen for Android studio Cache & History.
Firstly In android studio go File -> Close Project and Exit Android Studio.
Then Delete below 2 Folders:
C:\Users\user-name.AndroidStudio3.X\system\caches
C:\Users\user-name.AndroidStudio3.X\config\terminal\history (optional)
Open the Android Studio and Enjoy!
Complete uninstall Android Studio (including system and cache files) and Reinstalling clears my bug...

Android Studio: Can not calculate Diff

My compare files utility from Android Studio 2.3.3 is not working anymore, it shows the message "Can not calculate diff" and generate the following error on Event Log:
NullPointerException: update failed for ActionGroup: null (null)[null]
Here is the log captured by the Report to Google dialog
I'm using Mac, I already uninstalled Android Studio, Android-sdk, cloned the project again from git and deleted the Android folder under ~/User/MyUser/Library/Android, but the problem continues.
It does not happen with the other computers from my team.
Anyone knows how to fix this? It wasn't happening last week.
Delete Android Studio.app
Delete the following folders:
~/Library/Application Support/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Caches/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Preferences/AndroidStudio
Reinstall Android Studio.
