NuGet feed in Azure DevOps is not accessible anymore (TF246017 / TF30040) - azure

I recently activated the new URL in Azure DevOps, moving from
https://xxx.visualstudio.com/
to
https://dev.azure.com/xxx
Consequently, the address to my NuGet feed also changed:
https://{xxx.pkgs.visualstudio.com/_packaging/feed.xxx.ca/nuget/v3/index.json
to
https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/xxx/_packaging/feed.xxx.ca/nuget/v3/index.json
Everything works except for one thing. Now, I am unable to access my NuGet feed (using Visual Studio, Visual Studio for Mac & Rider). I end up with the following error:
Attempting to gather dependency information for multiple packages with
respect to project 'iOS', targeting 'Xamarin.iOS,Version=v1.0' Unable
to load the service index for source
https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/xxx/_packaging/feed.xxx.ca/nuget/v3/index.json.
If I type the address in a browser, I get the following error:
{"$id":"1","innerException":null,"message":"TF246017: Azure DevOps
Server could not connect to the database. Verify that the instance is
specified correctly, that the server that is hosting the database is
operational, and that network problems are not blocking communication
with the
server.","typeName":"Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.DatabaseConnectionException,
Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server","typeKey":"DatabaseConnectionException","errorCode":0,"eventId":3008}
Question
How do I fix it?
Update #1
There is a similar error described in this SO question. I am not using a proxy server.
Update #2
I am not seeing this error message when accessing the index.json:
{"$id":"1","innerException":null,"message":"TF30040: The database is
not correctly configured. Contact your Azure DevOps Server
administrator.","typeName":"Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.AzureClientIPRestrictedException,
Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server","typeKey":"AzureClientIPRestrictedException","errorCode":0,"eventId":3007}

I posted the same question developercommunity.visualstudio.com and got it fixed. It was due a problem on Microsoft's side as shown on the dev.azure's status page.

Web deployment task failed (Could not complete the request to remote agent URL https://xx.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/msdeploy.axd?site=XXXXXXX)

I am trying to publish blazor server web application to azure linux app service via visual studio community version 16.9.5
But it is failing with error information below:
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error Web deployment task failed. (Could not complete the request to
remote agent URL
'https://XXXXXXX.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/msdeploy.axd?site=XXXXXXX-dev__staging'.)
Could not complete the request to remote agent URL
'https://XXXXXX.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/msdeploy.axd?site=XXXXXX-dev__staging'.
The operation has timed out xxxxxx.web 0
I faced this issue earlier also but after one or two retry it was getting solved automatically. but this time I am unable to publish it after more than 20 tries. there is no exact information on exact problem anywhere.
Please suggest me if any exact cause of the error or solution.
Thanks,
Ashish
Troubleshooting:
Maybe you can try to set WEBSITE_WEBDEPLOY_USE_SCM=false on portal.
For more details, you can refer this post.
Why is application deployment failing on waws-prod-blu-167.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net?
In contrast, when using vs2019 was previously released, whether Service Dependencies were added.
Check whether the configuration of Service Dependencies is correct.
If all the above methods fail, please download publish profile and import to vs2019, then retry to publish your app.

The Publish URL https://waws-prod-am2-xxx.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/ is unreachable

I created a function app on Azure Portal with below configuration.
And I created a simple HTTP trigger Function App on VS 2019 version of 16.7.6. The function is working successfuly on local machine. When I want to publish it to Azure, it returns below error;
Publish has encountered an error. The Publish URL
https://waws-prod-am2-xxx.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/ is
unreachable. The application may be stopped, restarting or
unavailable. Try again once the publish target is available.
The publishing summary is;
When I check the publish profile on VS (.pubxml file), I see the line
<PublishUrl>https://waws-prod-am2-311.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/</PublishUrl>
But it should be
<PublishUrl>http://myfuncappdss.scm.azurewebsites.net</PublishUrl>
I change it manually and there is any other error that is not detected
Publish has encountered an error. Publish has encountered an error. We
were unable to determine the cause of the error.
It hasn't published for 2 days. Before, I published successfully. I search it on google but I couldn't find any clue.
Btw, I can reach the FTP file of the function successfully. And the function running successfully on https://myfuncappdss.azurewebsites.net/ site.
I tried it with az command also but it wasn't work, too. All my teammates can't publish also. So, the problem is not just about my computer.
Why is the PublishUrl set with wrong URL?
When I check the publish profile in Visual Studio (.pubxml file), I see the line:
<PublishUrl>https://waws-prod-am2-311.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net/</PublishUrl>
But it should be
<PublishUrl>https://myfuncappdss.scm.azurewebsites.net</PublishUrl>
I changed it manually and then it started working fine.
Step 1: Do the above URL changes and save the .pubxml file
Step 2: Close Visual Studio.
Step 3: Open your project in Visual Studio.
Step 4: Now publish, it should work as expected…
Here we have successfully deployed the Function App.
Update:
Thanks for Aybuke's aharing, this is the reason of the problem:
The problem base is about function publish profile. When I follow the steps, (Go to Azure Portal-->Go to function app-->Overview menu-->Get Publish Profile) I can download the publish profile of function. So, I can see the publish settings of function. "publishUrl="https://waws-prod-am2-xxx.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net:443"" This line is in the publish profile file that I downloaded. But it should be "publishUrl="https://myfuncappdss.scm.azurewebsites.net"". That is why the published zip file is sent to wrong url. So, there are some problems while creating function on Azure Portal.
Original Answer:
Did you encounter this error?
I notice you change publish url to http://myfuncappdss.scm.azurewebsites.net, please change it to https://myfuncappdss.scm.azurewebsites.net and try again.
If I use http, I also can not publish my function app. I don't know why the publish url is not what you want, but the az command should work. Any details when you use az command?
Change http to https, it should work.
I had this issue and the problem was on the App Function Settings.
In Networking, Inbound Traffic had Access Restrictions ON.
I had to add my public IP Address and then I was able to publish.

Setting up cakephp3 on azure webapp on linux

I am new to Azure. I would like to setup web app of cakephp 3+ on web app service of azure. I made a web app and tried to install cakephp by composer.
I get the following error:
Fixture creation for "requests" failed "SQLSTATE[HY000]: General Error: 5 database is locked"
Fixture creation for "panels" failed "SQLSTATE[HY000]: General Error: 5 database is locked"
I thought this error was the database connection. But I made a custom script and I saw the web server was able to connect to the database server. I also checked for php version compatibility, but it was all fine, as my dev server is running on same php(7.0) with same cake version. I looked into the looked into logs but nothing helped me. When I exported the code/cakephp to other server it works without any issue. Microsoft did not help me.
Please help in solving the issue.
The "requests" and "panels" tables are used by DebugKit, and created automatically if they don't exist. Presumably, the database user you are connecting to the database with doesn't have "create" permissions here. Either correct that, or disable the DebugKit plugin in your config/bootstrap.php.

Azure Data Factory failed on Build server The remote name could not be resolved: 'datafactories.schema.management.azure.com'

I have Data Factory project in my solution. It compiled successfully on my machine. But when I triggered it from my tfs build server DataFactory throws an error at ParameterConfig.json
MsBuild\1.0\DataFactory.targets (35): Failed to download JSON schema
http://datafactories.schema.management.azure.com/internalschemas/2015-01-01-preview/Microsoft.DataFactory.Table.json
with exception message The remote name could not be resolved:
'datafactories.schema.management.azure.com'
I have added $schema in all the datasets, pipeline, and ParameterConfig files. This issue is intermittent. Someday it fails someday it works.
After lot more brainstorming I come to know that its totally intermittent issue.
I got related issues in Keyvault stuff also. Same error saying "Remote name could not be resolved".
What I observed is the URL mentioned above "http://datafactories.schema.management.azure.com" is not accessible from my build server account. So I used the trick and it works for me.
I have added "http://datafactories.schema.management.azure.com" site as a trusted site on my build server Internet settings.
It works! I didn't get any issues till now. My build is succeeded all the time.

Visual Studio Team Services Build Failed - Database Project to Azure SQL

I have a build in Team Services (was Visual Studio Online), with one MSBuild step that is configured to build and deploy a DB project, using a publish profile. I can't seem to succeed in authenticating it. When I queued the Team Services build definition, I am able to build the DB Project and produce the .dacpac. However, come publish time and this error comes:
C:\a\1\s\Source\ShopDatabase\bin\Output\MyDatabase.publish.sql(0,0): Error Deploy72002: Unable to connect to master or target server 'mydb'. You must have a user with the same password in master or target server 'mydb'.
We're certain the user exists in the mydb and the master db in Azure.
Target: Azure SQL Database
DB project Target Platform: Microsoft Azure SQL Database
When I run the publish profile directly from Visual Studio, it works. But in Team Services build definition, it doesn't. I tried these as MSbuild arguments:
/t:Build;Publish /p:SqlPublishProfilePath="myproject.Dev.publish.xml" /p:Password="mypassword"
and this:
/t:Build;Publish /p:SqlPublishProfilePath="myproject.Dev.publish.xml" /p:TargetConnectionString="Data Source=myproject.database.windows.net;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=myuser;Password=mypassword;" /p:VisualStudioVersion=14.0 /p:Username="myuser" /p:Password="mypassword"
and this:
/t:Build;Publish /p:SqlPublishProfilePath="myproject.Dev.publish.xml" /p:TargetConnectionString="Data Source=myproject.database.windows.net;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=myuser;Password=mypassword;" /p:VisualStudioVersion=14.0 /p:TargetUserName="myuser" /p:TargetPassword="mypassword"
But won't work. Please help me T_T been searching the net for 6 hours already
This is a poor error message that likely disguises the real issue: you need to open up your firewall for deployment to Azure SQL DB. It's working from Visual Studio because you have your IP range enabled. The steps in this guide to building & deploying from VSO, specifically the post on deploying from VSO here, should help. it specifically covers how to open up the firewall as part of deployment.
An obvious answer (sometimes in hindsight!) but for future googlers the error You must have a user with the same password in master or target server
also happens if you are pointing your deploy to an instance that doesn't exist.
ie: Server was not found.
Fwiw, was generating a script from visual studio. Running as admin made it stop being a douche about this. What a waste of my life just now...
We recently had this issue and we resolved it by removing the #server-name from the end of the Server Admin Login value in the SQL DB Details section of the SQL Deploy VSTS Task. Some guides online say you need this but it appears something changed recently and it is no longer required.
