Blazorhosted ASP.NET Core 3 as Azure App Service - azure-web-app-service

Should hosting a Blazor netcore 3.0 ASP.NET app through Azure App Services be working? I just set up the sample app using preview3 blazorhosted template which works fine locally, but it's not working as an Azure app service. Has anyone tried this on the new core3 templates?

You can do it, you need to install .NET Core 3.0 on your web app in Azure, check extensions, install preview and restart the app.

Azure: change an existing Windows Web App to a Linux Web App (docker)

I have an existing Windows Web App in Azure which I want to migrate to a Linux (docker) Web App. It is easy to setup a new Linux Web App with a new URI and that all works. However, I need to preserve the existing URI (myservice.azurewebsites.net) that I have on the Windows Web App and use it in the Linux Web App.
Any downtime is not acceptable, so I cannot just "test" if I can remove the current Windows Web App and "re-use" the same URI.
Created ASP.Net Core Web App and deployed to Azure Windows App Service.
Tried to deploy the same Web App to Linux App Service(Docker), got the below warning.
Tried to continue the steps to provide the configuration access to docker container, got the below error.
For the apps which we want to deploy in Azure Linux Docker, we need to Enable Docker and provide Docker OS , which is not required for Azure Windows App Service.
remove the current Windows Web App and "re-use" the same URI.
It is suggested to create a new App Service Plan and deploy to Linux App (Docker).

Uploading Web API to Azure makes Blazor Web App not accessible

I have been trying to understand what I am doing wrong for about a week now. Here is my structure:
I am publishing Blazor server app to number 1. Then I have created ASP.Net Web API, tested it on my localhost and would like to upload it to Azure to access it online. However after I am hitting Publish in Visual Studio, my entire Blazor app is not any longer accessible from https address. Then I am Publishing my Blazor app again from Visual Studio and it is working fine again. What I am doing wrong? Is there any guide how to publish Blazor Web App and then host ASP.Net Web API on the same Azure account?
"on the same Azure account" is of course possible, but when you have 2 projects you will need 2 App Services, maybe under 1 service plan.
Two services cannot share the same URL.
I don't think you need an "API Management service" but I could be wrong.

Azure App Service hosting internal technology

When I host a .NET Core application in Azure App Service, it takes a web.config custom headers configuration, same as in IIS.
Which technology is used in the Azure App Service to host a .NET Core web application?

According to that when we host our application in Azure app service there will be no change in our application .

The web server built-in Azure app service

Background:
I am hosting a static web app, generated by NUXTJS on an Azure App Service.
Now I want to configure something more by the web.config like set CORS setting for multiple domains.
But I cannot find any document to figure out what kind of web server has been integrated/installed within the azure app service.
Questions:
Maybe an IIS if the platform is Window based, otherwise Apache when creating AAS in Linux based. Is it correct?
And what is the corresponding version for each?
There are different HTTP server approaches in App Service for Windows and App Service for Linux.
Azure App Service for Windows runs on IIS with the use of modules.
.NET Core apps in App Service on Windows are hosted by ASP.NET Core module
Node.js apps in App Service on Windows are hosted with IISNode.
The IISNode project provides a native IIS 7/8 module that allows hosting of node.js applications in IIS 7/8 and IIS 7/8 Express.
Python 2.7 and Python 3.4 is by default is installed on App Service in root folders on the server
Java apps in App Service on Windows are hosted with Maven plugin
Azure App Service for Linux works a bit differently.

Web API app with OWIN 'SystemWeb' on Azure App Service

I am creating app which uses Identity 2.1.0 framework in .NET. I started project in Visual Studio 2015 as Empty Web App (template). Now, I use Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Owin, and also Microsoft.Owin.Host.SystemWeb NuGet packages in my project. I understand that OWIN is a specification made to avoid monolithic frameworks and to specify how smaller application components interact with servers. However, I have requirement to deploy to Azure App Services.
I have found examples (blogs) where people deploy OWIN Web Api app as self-hosted to the Azure Cloud Services worker role. But I don't want this, as I don't use Cloud Service.
Since I am using Microsoft.Owin.Host.SystemWeb, am I going to be able to deploy this to Azure App service (which I assume manages internal IIS instance) ?
.NET ecosystem newbie here - so please excuse me for any possible redundancies in the question.
Microsoft.Owin.Host.SystemWeb is designed for hosting in IIS and all Azure App Service web apps are hosted in IIS, so this is exactly what you want (In fact, self-hosting likely won't work with Azure App Service).
