How do you Authenticate a Logic app microsoft.web/connections connection with code - azure

I have a logic app with an Office 365 connection. Of course I can authenticate this in the portal manually but I would have to do this every time I deploy from my deployment automation pipeline.
I have found a post of this but it is no longer available:
Authenticating office365 logic app connector with PS
The link that is no longer available
Here is what I mean in the portal:
Any idea how I automate this with say Powershell or az clie or something else?
thanks
Russ

This question was answered by Microsoft:
Issue description:
You are unable to change the user name for the Office 365 API connection
Scope definition:
To provide assistance on the above issue with Office 365 API connection
Troubleshooting steps:
I tried the repro of the scenario and tried the below options
Used incognito window- did not help
Tried creating a new API connection with the new user- did not help
Logged out of the office 365 suite- did not help
Logged in to the machine with the new account- it worked
Resolution:
Based on the observations, I had discussions with the experts, and it seems the connector currently can only take windows AD authentication and hence the issue.
Product group has this feature update in the backlog and would be updating the connector in coming days, we do not have an ETA yet on this.
Workaround option:
Use portal from a server which doesn’t need domain user login. Login
to the server with non-domain user
Use Mozilla Firefox browser- this
has worked for few customers.

Unable to add permissions to App on Azure Portal

I have created an app on Azure Portal to access some information via Microsoft Graph API but I am not able to add any permissions to it. It was working earlier but not any more. I also tried to register a new app, the app gets register but yet again the permissions could not be added.
As soon as I press the button to add the selected permissions these two popup notifications come up ..
1. Your session will end in a few minutes. You will have to refresh your browser to start a new session.
2. The portal is having issues getting an authentication token. The experience rendered may be degraded.
Additional information from the call to get a token:
Extension: Microsoft_AAD_RegisteredApps
This is happening since last 3 days now. I also searched on Google and found that people had similar issues earlier as well. Though I have raised a ticket on the portal for this but haven't received any reply yet.
Any help here would be very much appreciated. Also is there any way to check any logs on the portal itself. I did try to check the network logs via browser developer tools but they aren't much help.
It seems to be an issue with the Azure Portal for your region.
As #Hury Shen suggested, you should contact Azure Support for further investigation.
See how to open a support ticket on Azure portal.
Seems like there was an issue with my account address. I changed the address to one of US and it worked for me.
#Allen Wu Thanks for the suggestions. I had already asked them about it but no one replied.

Google apps sso into office 365

I am trying to let my google apps users login into office365 using google apps credentials but I am unable to find setup page on microsoft azure ad or office 365 account I followed https://support.google.com/a/answer/6363817?hl=en instructions but could not find instructions on Office 365 side. Does any one know where to find the setting page.
I've been battling this for a couple of days now.
The key is: you must use PowerShell to do the AzureAD settings:
Install AzureAD plugin for Powershell as described in the lower part of the page here: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/jj151815.aspx
Then this guys instructions helped me greatly:
http://www.viewds.com/blog/making-office-365-work-with-an-external-saml-identity-provider.html
I'm at a point where I get redirected from office.com to Google's login page as soon as I type my email address with our company domain. but then the login fails (but it worked 1 single time oddly enough). Let me know if you get any further!
Cheers

how an utility application connects with all three deployment types of CRM

I am working with an utility application which has user authentication(i.e. it takes username password from users as input). Previously I worked with CRM online. Now requirement is this utility should be able to connect all three deployment types of CRM (i.e. Onpremise, Online, IFD).I am not sure how to do it. I was using crmservice.cs and deviceidmanager.cs for connection with CRM.
From other online resources I found that in connection string if I add Authentication Type="Integrated"/"AD"/"SPLA"/"Passport" , it should work.
So If I write my connection string like
connectionString="Authentication Type="Integrated";Data Source= LINE500\sage;Initial Catalog=cs3live; Integrated Security=false; User Id=XXXXXXXX;Password=XXXXXXXX"
Is this gonna work? FYI, I have only CRM online trial account to verify my code.So I need your help on this.
Thanks.
a CRM Online environment can use Windows Live ID or Office 365 authentication, DeviceID and DevicePassword are necessary only when connecting with Windows Live ID credentials. So you need to know which authentication type is in use in your CRM.
To be able to connect to different environments I suggest to use the Simplified Connection, you can find more information here:

Login issue into Microsoft azure account

I have a v-xxxxx.microsoft.com ID through which i have created a account in microsoft Azure 90 days free trial account.
I am not able to login microsoft axure portal through v-xxxxx.microsoft.com ID. It is showing me error as "Sorry, we can't sign you in here with your #MICROSOFT.COM account."
Please can someone help here ?
Thanks
There are couple of things you can try as below:
Use In-Private Browsing with IE9/10 and see if you can enter your credentials
With #1 try to use the URL redirecting to domain ID
https://manage.windowsazure.com/?whr=microsoft.com
If you have other live account already included as co-admin or service administrator with your Azure Subscription please use that live account instead.
Finally if none of above option work, it is possible that your problem is related with lingering ordid issue. What you can do is contact Microsoft Support directly and ask them to route your issue to Windows Azure Support. This is only specific to Windows Azure Portal login issues.
Create a new account with an other email address. You can have a free trial per email address.

Azure - Unable To Get SQL Azure Invitation Code!

Scenario
I'm trying to convert my Silverlight Business Application over to the cloud with the help of Azure. I have been following this link from Brad Abrams blog.
Both the links to Windows Azure and SQL Azure crash out in Google Chrome, they work in Internet Explorer, but it's literally one of the worst user experiences I've ever had.
The Problem
I'm asked to sign in to Microsoft connect with my Live ID.
I do so, I'm then asked to register; I do so.
I'm then sent a verification email which I verify.
I'm then signed out!
When I sign back in, it repeats the process....
Any suggestions for making this work?
Edit/Update:
Finally managed to get signed up/in to connect. From here I was able to get hold of an invitation code to Windows Azure. Now I need an invitation code for SQL Azure. I cannot see ANYWHERE that advertises a way of getting this SQL Azure code, the only thing that I have seen is some text saying that there "may be a delay" in receiving codes due to volume of interest, which quite frankly I find hard to believe.........
It's so far been 3 days now. This officially sucks!
If I have any more news I'll post back here.
I eventually gave up and emailed the support team moaning about the poor service, got an email invitation code about a day later :-D
Let me assure you that the Windows Azure Portal itself works fine under Chrome... Connect however doesn't.
I'm not sure at what point of the process you're getting stuck. Is it registering for Connect? Or have you gotten far enough that you're filling in a survey to get access to Windows Azure?
If it's as early as registering for Connect, I would contact Connect Support: https://connect.microsoft.com/Main/help/emailsupport.aspx?Category=3.
Thats funny. I have just received an SQL Azure October CTP invitation that doesn't work.
But after 3 weeks i still dont have a Windows Azure invitation code. From where Im standing, the Azure registration process appears to be a jumbled mess.
As of Jan 4th SQL Azure (as well as Windows Azure) is now open to all users to register and SQL Azure no longer require tokens. For more details on this please see the blog post.
