Removing urlEncodingAttributes values breaks page (hybris) - sap-commerce-cloud

I copied powertoolsinitialdata and made it my store after changing names.
Now I can go to localhost my site and see powertools products.
In site.impex , there is a part:
# CMS Site
INSERT_UPDATE CMSSite;uid[unique=true];theme(code);channel(code);stores(uid);contentCatalogs(id);defaultCatalog(id);defaultLanguage(isoCode);urlPatterns;active;previewURL;startingPage(uid,$contentCV);urlEncodingAttributes;defaultPromotionGroup(Identifier)[default=mysitePromoGrp]
;$siteUid;lambda;B2B;$storeUid;$contentCatalog;$productCatalog;$defaultLanguage;(?s).*;true;$storefrontContextRoot/?site=$siteUid;homepage;storefront,language,currency;
This is default from powertools.
So I have to go to
https://localhost:9002/mysite/en/USD/
instead of the only localhost.
For it, I deleted those parameters.
and made site.impex like this
# CMS Site
INSERT_UPDATE CMSSite;uid[unique=true];theme(code);channel(code);stores(uid);contentCatalogs(id);defaultCatalog(id);defaultLanguage(isoCode);urlPatterns;active;previewURL;startingPage(uid,$contentCV);urlEncodingAttributes;defaultPromotionGroup(Identifier)[default=mysitePromoGrp]
;$siteUid;lambda;B2B;$storeUid;$contentCatalog;$productCatalog;$defaultLanguage;(?s).*;true;$storefrontContextRoot/?site=$siteUid;homepage;;;
I deleted only last 3 parameters
storefront,language,currency;
which are urlencodinggatrributes.
Then I again made ant initialize (also I tried importing from console).
After clearing cache or going incognito, I see such a bottom of powertools
https://pasteboard.co/HqKOciV.png
Why is that? Why is it not proper? I want to remove those parameters. Should I remove from also somewhere else?
I don't want to do via WCMS or adding another Impex like
INSERT_UPDATE CMSSite;uid[unique=true];urlEncodingAttributes
I could not find any solution for that wish. I searched a lot but no solutiions for this.

You just need to remove these urlEncodingAttributes in either way from impex/hmc/backoffice and just do server up once. It will fix your issue. If you initialize, then again those impexes will be imported. You should do this after initialization.
Can you check from where this image is getting appended?

SharePoint Quick Part Label Stopped Working

We are currently migrating our EDMS into SharePoint. As part of this workstream, I recently set up a SharePoint site with a Quick Part Label containing just the version number - as per the instructions here.
This worked fine in testing, now a few users have been added to the site and the migration works have begun. The option for "Label" within Quick Parts has simply dissapeared.
I tried some trouble shooting on Friday and found the following:
Recovering an old document from the recycle bin, still contain a correct version number label.
This label can be copy and pasted to a new document, and it correct applies the label quick part with the new documents version.
I set up a new test site and the Quick Part Label behaved exactly as expected, meaning the issue is within the Live SharePoint site itself.
I turned off labels and reset them. With no success.
I am opening in the app, the library has minor versions, check-in/check-out turned on (and currently approvals are turned off).
I also suspected that OneDrive sync might cause issues, but this again didn't seem to solve anything in the test site.
NB: this is also posted here, I will keep both threads up to date.
Screenshot showing label missing
Update 20/12/22
Since this morning I have now taken the following additional steps:
Added a new content type
Recreated the label for that content type
Change the content type of the document in the library, and the label
option now appears
This seems like a fix, but I am also curious as to limitations of
this method.
Limitations noticed so far: cannot edit SharePoint columns in the
details pane

Creating a new GitLab issue and assigning a label to it automatically

I am working on designing webpage UI where some experimental data is stored. This data could be inaccurate sometimes so I'm providing a button at the bottom of the page which redirects the user to the new issue webpage in GitLab. Look at the sample below.
And this button will take the user to somewhere like this:
The URL behind the button is simply
<full-path-to-some-gitlab-repo>/issues/new?issue[title]=Issue%20with%20experiment%20%201
which was taken from GitLab official documentation.
As you can see here, there's an option to automatically fill the Title section directly from URL but I couldn't figure out how to do the same for Labels. Is there any way to do it this way?
For internal requirements, there must be a label automatically selected and the users can't be relied on to select it by themselves. For each webpage, a new label is assigned which makes it possible to extract all the issues related to that webpage later just by extracting all issues with that label. This might not be an optimal way to do this so if you have any other suggestions, please put them in comments. Thanks.
This does not seem yet supported, regarding pre-filling labels on issues.
That was requested in issue 63392, but without solution for now.

View. Show values as Links. Strange behaviour

Xpage (listPostits.xsp) has a "View" container control, where one of the column is set "show values in this column as links".
Now, here comes "Strange behaviour".
When i work with this application on my own (developer) PC (Win XP, Chrome or IE), the Domino generate the link, which can't be really processed:
/servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp/onePostit.xsp?documentId=many_numbers&action=editDocument
Namely, the Bold-marked portion shouldn't be there ! This portion is the name of the XPage, where the View control is in.
When i work with the application from other PC (Mac, Firefox) then i get the correct link (the same as above but without the XPage name inbetween):
/servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/onePostit.xsp?documentId=many_numbers&action=editDocument
update: let us leave for the moment the differencies in generated links between two machines. The first question is - why the extra portion is inserted into automatically generated link?
After playing around i think i might have found the reason for this strange behaviour. Namely, the "Substitution" Rules on the server side. One of them is to substitute "*/postit/all" with "/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp"
If i switch it off, then the Links are generated properly. Still, it's pretty strange to me that these settings influence the way Domino generates the links. I thought it works on the fly with them and those settings have nothing to do with the way how Links are generated inside the application.
So, the help now is needed regarding Web Site Rule Topic, but for that, i guess, i have to create another topic. But in case somebody has some good Info on this, please share it with me. I'm a bit confused at the moment :)
Final Update: Spent some more hours of testing and the results confirmed the initial idea.
If i open the page with the standart URL, i.e.
http://servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp then everything is fine, links are generated properly. When i however open the same page with short URL http://servername/postit/all , then server adds the substitute URL (db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp) to every single link he generates automatically to be used as the link to open/edit the underlying document.
Is it bug or feature ? Don't know.
As a workaround (because i want to keep simple URL's for the application) i have to manually generate links.

More efficient ExpressionEngine server moves

I'm trying to find a better way to move my Expression Engine 2 sites from development to live servers. I have a checklist that I go through, starting with running a find and replace for the old/new URLs and server paths, then I update the database config file. This however misses out a huge amount of settings that I then have to go through and change manually, but I don't see why I should need to (unless these are encrypyed somewhere).
For example, I have to change the "Basepath to Template File Directory" in the Global Template Settings manually, along with member settings and a handful of others. There must be a file or entry with these in somewhere that I can change before I upload but I can't find it.
Does anyone know where these are stored?
Those are stored in the database, unless you are using global config variables.
I would highly recommend looking into some sort of config bootstrap. There are quite a few solutions to this, but it's really up to you to pick what's right for your development style / environment(s).
Take a look at the following articles:
http://eeinsider.com/articles/creating-a-robust-config.php-file/
http://boblet.tumblr.com/post/68095239/ee-localhost
http://eeinsider.com/articles/multi-server-setup-for-ee-2/
I've tried those solutions, but in my opinion the best option is NSM config bootstrap.
Check it out here: [http://ee-garage.com/nsm-config-bootstrap][4]
The only thing (currently) missing from these solutions are new config vars regarding file upload paths and locations. You can add those to any of these solutions by adding the variables detailed in this article:
http://expressionengine.com/user_guide/cp/content/files/file_upload_preferences.html#overriding-upload-paths-and-urls-using-configuration-variables
I know I'm late on this one, but for anyone else searching, this plugin is very useful and I have used it on numerous occasions.
ExpressionEngine stores your website URL and Server Path in a ridiculous number of places.
REElocate helps you update these in one simple step.

Proper way to hide place holders in a SharePoint 2007 Master Page?

I am working on a specialized instance of MOSS for a client where What I am wanting to do is hide elements on the master page. In particular, I want to hide the main top navigation bar, the search functionality and the label that shows up in the upper-left-hand corner that tells you the name of the site you are on. So I made a copy of the default.master, and then in SP Designer I set the visible attributes for the placeholders for these blocks to “false” in the new master file.
I can then assign the master to my normal site collection no problems and it seems to been working like I want it to. But when I go to look at the system pages (i.e. any of the forms or backend stuff), it is still using the old default master. And when I tried to set the System Master Page to my customized master file, my MOSS instance threw a File Not Found error. Then certain parts of the admin area just started failing in that same way (i.e. I would try to go into Site Settings -> Content and Structure and it also would throw a File Not Found error) Then at one point, the whole Site Collection would throw “Unknown Error” and there didn't seem to be a way to recover, short of reverting the state of the VM I am running MOSS in for development purposes.
So I am curious, what is the best way to create a custom master page and then hide elements on that page? I realized that my web cluster didn’t have the proper flag set up to actually show me real ASP error messages, so I am going to change that tonight when I get home and see what SP is really telling me about all of this. I have also read that changing the application.master file is not recommended, but I figured I could get away with making a custom page for the Site and System master pages and not worry about application.master. I have been reading a bunch of Heather Solomon articles as well as various other things. They all basically say that it’s ok to hide elements on a master page, but not delete them outright as SP will break if you do that. Would it be advisable to use a JS/CSS hack to manually hide elements that way, rather than actually making a new master page?
You create an asp:placeholder with the visible attribute set to false and place the contentplaceholders that are to be hidden in that container, weird I know but it works... as for the system.master you probably would want to make a copy of the system.master that SharePoint uses and then alter that one in the same manner.
Thank you so much for posting this. Works like a charm. I was so afraid because everyone says not to mess with the Application.Master. All I did was open it with Notepad and add Visible="false" (I wanted to hide the topnavigation bar because I have custom tabs that display depending on a user's permissions which are controlled by code in default.master. But then if a user had to upload a file, upload.aspx uses application.master and all the tabs would be displayed.)
I edited this line only:
wssuc:TopNavBar id="IdTopNavBar" runat="server" ShouldUseExtra="true" Visible="false"
Works like a charm!
Note that the following pages will also be affected:
Site Settings
View all site content
Workflow settings of a document library
Recycle Bin
Search results
