How to setup merge tool based on mime-types in TortoiseSVN - tortoisesvn

[enter image description here][1]I am stuck in setting up merge tool based on mime-types in TortoiseSVN.
It works fine when setting up the merge tool (KDiff3) based on file extensions, like .xml. However, it doesn't work when trying to assotiate with mime-types, referring to TortoiseSVN's help document:
To associate using a file extension, you need to specify the extension. Use .bmp to describe Windows bitmap files. To associate using the svn:mime-type property, specify the mime type, including a slash, for example text/xml.
I'm not sure if this is a bug of TortoiseSVN, or I misunderstood the help document.
Can anybody shed me some light? Thanks.
I'm using Windows 7, 64bit, TortoiseSVN 1.9.4.
(I'm new enough in StackOverflow that I am not able to post picture yet. Orz)

Automating the download of redhat for kickstart

I'm trying to work on a project to automate the kickstart images however i'm stuck on my first subtask.
The download links for redhat downloads look something like the bellow:
https://access.cdn.redhat.com//content/origin/files/sha256/12/mkwosis89j9f8ef53ad7365f2997d42d4f83ccuwodjsl/rhel-server-7.3-x86_64-dvd.iso?auth=148102836_3974432975fa9f10e716c4a38928db
This becomes a problem because i can't know what the sha and the auth code are going to be before hand i can't just modify this url in bash, i need to have a way of going to the Latest downloads page and follow the link.
Anybody know how what i can use to achieve this?
Thanks.
It seems like you will be wasting a lot of bandwidth for each installation. Have you considered creating a local repository of ISO's? You would need to add the latest ISO when it is released. Check out this link for creating ISO repositories.

installing chinese character support for wkhtmltopdf on CloudControl

I have a production/test environment deployed on cloudcontrol that uses wkhtmltopdf in order to create a pdf from an html page. this html page may contains chinese characters though, and in this case once converted these characters simply disappear.
According to this question I should perform the installation of some fonts packages, but since I don't have a direct console access to Cloudcontrol this solution won't fit for me.
Before I escalate this request to the CC support team, did anyone had the same problem already?
If anyone is interested, I fixed this issue by putting the 2 *.ttc files recommended in this post and extracted from the tar.gz retrieved here (microhei) and here (zenhei) into my git repository in a folder named .fonts/ and including this folder in Gruntfile.js in the same list of the other backend files under copy/dist/files.
Lat note, regarding zenhei I did not copy the .fonts.conf file as well but only the .ttc

About updating a node-webkit app

I want to set auto-updates up for my apps before I release. I'm a budding programmer, so when I looked into node-webkit-updater I was pretty confused. It seems under-documented to me. Can someone explain the overall update mechanism that it helps implement?
As an alternative to node-webkit-updater, I was thinking of creating my own update system. I kinda like how Apple handles extension updates and I was thinking about replicating it. This would involve putting a JSON/XML manifest file on Amazon S3 along with the latest versions of the app for all platforms. The app checks the file at startup and replaces itself with the new version.
Is the latter sound plausible? Am I better off going with node-webkit-updater? If so, can someone explain it to me please? My app is a Mac + Windows project.
This is what we did:
The first script of the page checks a custom "manifest" (.txt file) on the server, which contains some arbitrary text, e.g. version number.
If this value differs from a local version of the manifest, then download a .zip file from server. (The zip contains the latest nwjs website. You could have a separate one for each platform).
Unzip into a local directory (we use 7za command line util).
Set window.location.href to above local directory (index.html).
I know this is a old question, but here is the answer :)

How to check if files exist in .ism without using InstallShield

I want to verify if certain exe files already exist in a merge module .ism (binary format). Is there a method of doing this without using InstallShield?
An *.ism file is really an MSI file with a changed extension. MSI files in turn are SQL databases stored as COM-structured storage files - a file system inside a single file with file streams for various content. This is the same format used in Office documents.
You can view MSI files with Orca from the Windows SDK: http://www.hass.de/content/how-install-microsoft-orca
Windows Installer XML (WiX) Deployment Tools Foundation (DTF) has an InstallPackage class available that exposes a FindFiles() method. This should be really easy to query the EXE. Just realize that being a merge module you won't know the full installation path as that's decided by the MSI generally.
Both of Chris's suggestions should work fine, as would using Orca. But it got me thinking there might be an even easier way using a tool called Merge Module Finder. It all depends on what you really want to do? Find files already in merge modules? Investigate what merge modules are in an Installshield file? It is not quite clear exactly what you want to do.
Though a bit clunky at times (I think the author hasn't updated it for the latest versions of Windows) it will help you look for a file in a bunch of merge modules interactively. You can also search for a registry value. Here is a screenshot:

Path of newly added image files in IBM Connections

I have been trying to customize IBM Connections UI and have been able to insert and execute code in header.jsp thanks to the material available on the web.
The problem is if I add a new image file under the themes directory in <IBM_CONNECTIONS>\data\shared\customization\themes\images, how do I reference this image in header.jsp? Surely I cannot use an absolute path here which is <IBM_CONNECTIONS>/connections/resources/web/com.ibm.lconn.core.styles.oneui3/images/myimage.png.
Similarly I would like to add a new JavaScript, but I am not able to figure out how to give its relative path in header.jsp.
The <CONNECTIONS_CUSTOMIZATION_PATH>/themes directory should only be used to override images referenced by existing stylesheets, or add new images for custom stylesheets. If all you need is to display an image, the recommended location is <CONNECTIONS_CUSTOMIZATION_PATH>/common/images (create subdirectories if necessary). The image will be available under every application's context root, e.g. /files/images/myimage.png
claudiopro, your solution works with /files/images/myimage.png and /profiles/images/myimage.png and so on. But what about main /homepage/
The url /homepage/images/myimage.png is not working.
Do you know how to avoid that?
Do you also know where the solution you provided is documented in IBM Knowledge Center?
In documentation of Connections 5.0 there are few pages about images and CSS custiomizations but some of those solutions are not even working, some are in contraty with each other...
