Url rewriting in php with multiple query string variables using .htacces - .htaccess

I have dynamic pages in php like:
http://www.example.com/page.php?tokenid=1&tokenname=About Us
I want to remove this part:
.php?tokenid=1&tokenname=About Us
page extension with query string and show the url as:
http://www.example.com/About Us
Update:
What I've tried so far:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f
#RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9\._-]*)?/(.*)$ $1.php [QSA,E=PATH_INFO:/$2,L]
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9\._-]*)?/(.*)$ $1.php/$2 [QSA,E=PATH_INFO:/$2,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1.php [QSA,L]
# Fix PHP Authentication with FastCGI mode
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} !''
RewriteRule .*php - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization},L]
</IfModule>

Try this in your .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
# Skip actual files/directories
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
# If the host matches example.com
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com$
# And the request URI starts with page.php
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^\/page\.php
# And the querystring matches tokenid=DIGIT&tokenname=TOKEN_NAME
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} tokenid=\d&tokenname=(.*)
# Then rewrite the URI to TOKEN_NAME
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ %1? [L,R]
You might want to try it online, if you wish.

Rewritecond by `%{HTTP_HOST}` is ignored?

I have multiple domains that point to the same folder on my server. The code in index.php page recognizes which domain is accessing it and shows different content for each domain.
Now I want that www.domain-a.com\sitemap.xml opens /sitemap-a.xml so that each domain has its own sitemap.
I use the following rule in my .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^.*domain-a\.com$
RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ sitemap-a.xml [NC]
However, if I access www.domain-a.com\sitemap.xml then the content from the file /sitemap.xml is shown instead of the file sitemap-a.xml.
Is the redirecting rule wrong? If so, how can I fix it?
I am using Laravel. This is the full .htaccess file:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
<IfModule mod_negotiation.c>
Options -MultiViews -Indexes
</IfModule>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^.*domain-a\.com$
RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ sitemap-a.xml [NC]
# browser request: .php to non-php
# https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13222850/redirect-php-urls-to-urls-without-extension
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9}\ /([^\ ]+)\.php
RewriteRule ^/?(.*)\.php$ /$1 [L,R=301]
# Now, rewrite any request to the wrong domain to use www.
# [NC] is a case-insensitive match
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\. [NC]
RewriteRule .* https://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
# First rewrite to HTTPS:
# Don't put www. here. If it is already there it will be included, if not
# the subsequent rule will catch it.
RewriteRule .* https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
# Handle Authorization Header
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} .
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
# Redirect Trailing Slashes If Not A Folder...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.+)/$
RewriteRule ^ %1 [L,R=301]
# Handle Front Controller...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]
</IfModule>
Can you try this rule just above # Handle Authorization Header line:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} (?:^|\.)domain-a\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^sitemap\.xml$ /sitemap-a.xml [L,NC]

htaccess - HTTP to HTTPS and .HTML to /

I need help with an .htaccess that:
forces http:// to https://
AND
forces .html to /
What I have so far:
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.html [NC,L]
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
#1 This line checks if the https is off
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} ^off$
#then, redirect to https
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [NC,L,R]
#2 this line checks if the request is /file.html
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /([^.]+)\.html [NC]
#then redirect /file.html to /file
RewriteRule ^ /%1 [NC,L,R]
#3 if the request is not for dir
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
#and the request is an existing filename
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.html -f
#then rewrite /file to /file.html
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/?$ $1.html [NC,L]
In the example above, the first condition is met when the original scheme is HTTP, and then the rule is processed. HTTP goes to HTTPS. The first Round of rewrite processing ends here.
In the second round, mod_rewrite accepts the URI /file.html and the rule redirects it to /file, since the /file does not exist in directory, so we need to rewrite it to the original file #3...
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.yourdomain.com/$1 [R,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.html [NC,L]
I've used both of them before, but I haven't used them together. Hope this helps.
(EDIT)
To actually FORCE extensions to look like directories:
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \s/+(.+?)\.html[\s?] [NC]
RewriteRule ^ /%1/ [R=302,L,NE]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.+[^/])$ %{REQUEST_URI}/ [R=302,NE,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/$1\.html -f [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.+?)/?$ $1.html [L]
http://alexcican.com/post/how-to-remove-php-html-htm-extensions-with-htaccess/
http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/ssl/how-to-force-https-using-the-htaccess-file
First of all, make sure mod-rewrite is enabled.
Then, put this code in your htaccess (which should be in document root folder)
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# Redirect http urls to https equivalent
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
# Redirect existing /path/file.html to /path/file/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \s/(.+?)\.html\s [NC]
RewriteRule ^ %1/ [R=301,L]
# Internally rewrite back /path/file/ to /path/file.html (if existing)
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/$1\.html -f
RewriteRule ^(.+)/$ $1.html [L]
Warning:
Make sure to serve the same document root as http for https (apache ssl block configuration)
Be aware that this creates virtual directories (by adding a trailing
slash) which could mess up your html resources (if you're using
relative paths instead of absolute paths). If so, use absolute paths
instead

.htaccess make friendly url

I have a problem with making friendly URL. I need to convert url from http://blabla.eu/stats_details?date=01-2012 to http://blabla.eu/stats_details/01-2012. Other Rewrite rules are working properly beside the last one. What is the problem?
Here is code of .htaccess:
AddDefaultCharset utf-8
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^admin/users/$ /admin/users/view.php [L]
RewriteRule ^admin/loans/$ /admin/loans/view.php [L]
RewriteRule ^stats_details/(.*)$ stats_details.php?date=$1 [L,QSA]
</IfModule>
I think this must to work, try to paste
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# Removes index.php from ExpressionEngine URLs
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^GET.*index\.php [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/system/.* [NC]
RewriteRule (.*?)index\.php/*(.*) /$1$2 [R=301,NE,L]
# Directs all EE web requests through the site index file
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]

htaccess hide extension doesn't allow ExpressionEngine logins

So pretty much said it but, using this in my .htaccess
Options +FollowSymLinks -MultiViews
# Turn mod_rewrite on
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
## removes index.php
# Add/Hide index.php from everything except admin
RewriteCond $1 !\.(gif|jpe?g|png)$ [NC]
RewriteCond $1 !admin$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?$1 [L]
## hide .php extension
# To externally redirect foo.php to foo
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s([^.]+)\.php [NC]
RewriteRule ^ %1 [R,L,NC]
## To internally redirect /dir/foo to /dir/foo.php
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f
RewriteRule ^ %{REQUEST_URI}.php [L]
Will allow me to use /admin as a url, but will not allow me to log in,
If I remove this line RewriteCond $1 !admin$ [NC] it prepends index.php onto
/admin making it index.php/admin and I can't see the page
What are you trying to achieve? Just removing index.php? If so this .htaccess works:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]
Then you'll have to access /admin.php of course, or you can put it in a directory named /admin if you wish.

Delete ugly ?pg=1 from URL via .htacess RewriteRule

I have pagination plugin in my CMS which produces ?pg=1 links. I want to redirect this url without this ugly postfix because without it CMS shows first page too.
So, i have url like http://site.ru/category/schock-crane/?pg=1 or http://site.ru/moyka/?type=granit&pg=1
I want to redirect such urls to http://site.ru/category/schock-crane/ and http://site.ru/moyka/?type=granit respectly.
I tried this .htaccess code
RewriteRule (.*)(&|\?)pg=1$ $1 [R=301,L]
I tried this regexp code at regexp trainers - it worked. But at live server no redirect happens.
Here is whole .htaccess file:
AddDefaultCharset Off
#DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
Options +FollowSymLinks
Options -Indexes
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# fix /?pg=1
RewriteRule (.*)(&|\?)pg=1$ $1 [R=301,L]
# fix .palitra-tab
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} -tab$
RewriteRule (.*)/([0-9]*)/\.(.*)-tab?$ http://site.ru/redirect.php?id=$2 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/csss/.* [NC]
RewriteRule csss/(.*)\.css$ css.php?n=$1 [L]
#RewriteRule ^(.*)/csss/(.*) /test.php [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)/base([0-9]+)/?$ $1?base=$2
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f
#RewriteRule \.(gif|jpeg|jpg|png)$ /images/watermark/index.php [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^(.+) - [PT,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !=/favicon.ico
RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} !^$
RewriteRule .* - [E=REMOTE_USER:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
You need to use RewriteCond to examine the query string:
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^(([^&]*&)*)pg=1(&(.*)|$)
RewriteCond %1%4 (.*?)&?$
RewriteRule ^ %{REQUEST_URI}?%1 [R=301,L]
The second RewriteCond is just to remove a trailing &.
Maybe the missing ^ or / kills the redirect
# fix /?pg=1
RewriteRule ^(.*)(&|\?)pg=1$ /$1 [R=301,L]
or try
RewriteRule ^(.*)(&|\?)pg=1$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
