"Show as Saved Image" in Content add-in - ms-office

I have multiple Content apps (Office Add-ins) in a PowerPoint presentation. The apps need to be converted to image before distributing the presentation to the wider audience group. I know the way to do this is by clicking 'Show as Saved Image' menu in the context menu of the app. But with multiple apps in the document, this is a very tedious process as this will have to be done repeatedly and manually on each Content app. Is there a solution to implement 'show as saved image' on all Content apps in the document in a single step / click?
Desperately looking for a solution! Thanks for any help!

Yes:
Save the file
File > Inspect Presentation/Check for Issues > Inspect Document
Deselect everything except "Content Add-ins"
Inspect
Replace All
Now all the content add-ins are replaced by their images permanently.

How to restore "view item" web part for Sharepoint List

I'm using Sharepoint 2010 foundation. We have a list available on the site that we use to manage work items. Normally, the options to view detailed list content are "View Item" and "Edit Item". It looks like someone accidentally deleted the list view for the "view item" page, so that when anyone opens an item, all they see is the list item title and a big blank box in the middle. Does anyone know how to restore the list view for a single list item so that we can view the item contents?
Alright; if your form was a non modified-form without further extensions or modifications you have only a few clicks ahead of you, otherwise: you better have a backup.
Disclaimer: I am using the german version of SPD, but the controls are at the same positions as in the English version. See screenshots for clarifications
Open up SharePoint Designer 2010
Open your SP Site
Open the list in question
Click on "new" (see Screenshot below)
Fill out the form (Enter name, check form to view, and default form)
Boom - you're good to go again. Save it.
You can download SPD here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16573

How to add File attachment in campaign Form in CRM 2011

My CRM is configured in outlook , and i need to add File attachment in campaign form , I tried Customize->Form... But i cant find File attachment in Field Explorer..
So how to add this, as shown in image...
thanks.
In CRM Dynamics 2011 there is no control for file explorer. You have to add a control like that through a Webresource (HTML5 or Silverlight) or Iframe that points for an aspx page.
Your screen shot looks like a custom development that isnt a standard control. That said you will probably achieve what you want by just adding the notes grid to your form. A note can have attachments and has a standard file explorer.
Go back into customising the form, click the insert tab on the ribbon, click notes.
It’s not that hard to knock something up in Silverlight. The annotation entity is just a normal entity and can be written to just like any other. Here is a screen shot of it integrated into a normal CRM form. The control allows you to drag and drop files or click the upload button to be presented with a file dialog box
Oh and one last helper point, the document is stored in the attribute “DocumentBody” as a base64 encoded string. You can then read that and convert it into a byte array to save to disk etc

How to reset SharePoint 2010 List forms from InfoPath to the default forms?

I've converted a Custom List forms to use InfoPath forms using SharePoint Designer, now I want to revert this back and return to the normal New, Edit and Details forms.
How can I achieve this?
Edit: Here is what I did
In SharePoint Designer 2010 I Clicked on Lists and Libraries
Click on the List I modified
In the Ribbon I select Design Forms in InfoPath in Actions Group
I started to design the form like I want
I published the modifications to the List
Now I want to undo what I did and return to the normal New, Edit and Details forms
List -> List Settings -> there is some InfoPath forms server settings link that leads to the page where you can remove customization.
Changing default Edit/New pages will not help - you need to modify pages for default content type of this list if you want to go this route.
You should be able to do this in SharePoint without needing SP Designer.
Navigate to the list in SharePoint.
On the List ribbon bar, click List Settings.
Under General Settings, click Form Settings link (bottom of first column).
Select the Use the default SharePoint Form option.
You can also opt to delete the custom form by checking Delete the InfoPath Form from the server.
If you created new forms, in sharepoint designer, set the orginal dispform.aspx, editform.aspx and upload.aspx as default.
if you changed the original files, from the navigation pane, go to "All files" --> "/lists/your list" or "your library" --> forms.
Right click the changed files (a blue icon should be present) and then click on "Reset to site definition"
Please note that if you go into the List Settings and click on Form Settings you should see "Infopath" or "Sharepoint" as an option. If you do not see that the form hasn't been checked back in. Open the form back up in Infopath, Publish the form, then go back to your sharepoint list settings and select "Form Settings" from there you should now see the sharepoint option. Select that and you should be good.
If you are looking to hide some of the questions but still see them in Data View (alot of the reason why some of us are doing our forms in infopath) you can actually hide some of them by going to "Advanced Settings" and turning on "Allow Management of Content Types" then going into content type by selecting your list, and from there you can make all the changes by clicking on the column item. This is a great way to hide columns you don't need everyone seeing that you may need to make updates to (lookup columns etc)

Can an audio object be embedded in an InfoPath form?

Is it possible to embed an audio object (mp3, wma, whatever) in a web-enabled InfoPath form ?
If it is, how do you do it ?
#Martin
That works for local forms that open in InfoPath. Nathan was asking about web-enabled forms. ActiveX controls are disabled for web forms, as evidenced by the informational label at the bottom of the design controls when the form compatability has been set to the web.
Now, I will admit that I know nothing about the HTML tags to play audio in a browser, but I have something else that might work. I had an InfoPath form that I needed to dynamically load an image into for a web-enabled form. Similar to the ActiveX issue, the Picture control was also disabled. What I did was put some managed code behind the form and execute the following when the form loaded.
public void FormEvents_Loading(object sender, LoadingEventArgs e)
{
string imgPath = "http://yoursite/yourimage.jpeg";
XPathNodeIterator xpni = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:FormName/my:RichTextControlName", NamespaceManager).SelectChildren(XPathNodeType.All);
xpni.Current.InnerXml = "<img xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\" src=\"" + filePath + "\" width=\"200px\" height=\"55px\" />";
}
I don't see why you couldn't take the same approach and load audio rather than an image.
It looks like you can't embed <object> tags in a richtext field. I'm getting nothing when I do it.
Have you tried manually modifying the XSL in order to generate HTML which embedds your audio file?
I don't think there is a way to do this using the InfoPath Designer, but if it ends up in the XSL; it may just get passed through to the web enabled form.
Edit: My apologies, I missed that the question was about Web forms - for which the below does not work. Must learn to read the question fully!
Go to menu View
Click on Design Tasks
Select Controls in the 'Design Tasks' Task pane
Click on the 'add or remove custom controls' button to install your custom
control
Click on the Add button and select ActiveX Control
Select the Windows Media Player control
Select the necessary properties for databinding and finish the wizard.
After you have added the control, you can drag and drop the control on your screen.
Right-Click on the control and select the 'Windows Media Player properties'
Fill in the URL to automatically embed the file to play.

How can you have SharePoint Link Lists default to opening in a new window?

In SharePoint, it is easy to set up a List webpart consisting of Links to other documents, folders, sites, etc. Unfortunately, when clicking these links, the default behavior is for the page to open in the current browser window. That is, it does NOT open the page in a new instance of the browser. This has proven annoying for a number of the users on my site.
Does anyone know of a way to have the default behavior be to open in a NEW browser window?
I'm hoping this is something that can be set in SharePoint rather than having users need to adjust some sort of setting in their browser.
It is not possible with the default Link List web part, but there are resources describing how to extend Sharepoint server-side to add this functionality.
Share Point Links Open in New Window
Changing Link Lists in Sharepoint 2007
You can edit the page in SharePoint designer, convert the List View web part to an XSLT Data View. (by right click + "Convert to XSLT Data View").
Then you can edit the XSLT - find the A tag and add an attribute target="_blank"
The same instance for SP2010; the Links List webpart will not automatically open in a new window, rather user must manually rt click Link object and select Open in New Window.
The add/ insert Link option withkin SP2010 will allow a user to manually configure the link to open in a new window.
Maybe SP2012 release will adrress this...
Under the Links Tab ==> Edit the URL Item ==> Under the URL (Type the Web address)- format the value as follows:
Example:
if the URL = http://www.abc.com ==> then suffix the value with ==>
#openinnewwindow/,'" target="http://www.abc.com'
SO, the final value should read as ==>
http://www.abc.com#openinnewwindow/,'" target="http://www.abc.com'
DONE ==> this will open the URL in New Window
