want to aggregate this to one mail (something like gather all mails for one minute and then send an summary). Is this possible with nagios?.
I preferred to disable all email notifications and just use the Web Console for alert checking.

I found a similar question from 2016, however at that time Gmail itself did not support scheduled sending of emails.
Now that you can schedule messages to send later directly from Gmail, I was wondering if there was a way to do it with their API.
Interestingly, scheduled emails appear as message objects when calling messages.list, but they do not contain any labels.
Any help would be appreciated! And if it's not possible at the moment, it would be awesome to get a reply from someone at Google about when this will become possible (I believe they officially endorse the gmail-api tag to StackOverflow)
I don't think a time-based trigger will work--even if you write the code to store email send data and then build something that regularly checks whether it's time for an email to be sent. See Google's documentation on triggers, and you'll notice that time-based triggers aren't available for Gmail scripts.
Unfortunately, there is no Gmail API endpoint for scheduling the sending of emails directly.
One workaround would be to write a script in Google Apps Script (https://script.google.com) which handles the composing of the email you wish to send, as well as a function to send the mail via the API. You can then use the built-in 'Apps Script Project Triggers' feature to trigger the function to run on a schedule; for example on action/event or at a specific/repeated time.

I'm not even sure if this is possible/options to look into.
I wrote an email-based sync where a user has a note in Evernote and when the user sends an email from Evernote to a website endpoint, I want the end point to notify the user that their request was received on Evernote.
I don't know if this is even possible. I just want to say "email received" sort of thing.
Closest thing I could think of is having an evernote with the contents updated (sync log). It's kind of like a webhook for Slack but looking for Evernote.
To clarify: The user is currently on Evernote (website) looking at their note, they send the email (from here to share the current note) I want a popup/notification of some sort to say "Email received" I don't know if there is a system for this or not. I don't think so.
Edit: In the meantime I just setup a slack webhook notification
There's no way to programmatically cause a notification to occur/appear within an Evernote client application. You could implement something that's external to Evernote using your own notification mechanism like push notification on mobile, SignalR, etc. but that would be dependent on the user's environment.
Here is what I am looking to setup & I'm wondering if it is possible:
I have a classified ads site where people can join the site and then are allowed the ability to email any listing. I would like to add the ability for people to text message listings as well.
Listing owners would add their cell numbers if they would like to be contacted via text message, the site would then allow user to text BUT it would not show real phone numbers, each listing owner would be assigned a nexmo number and if they choose to give out their phone numbers, they can.
Then, I would also like the ability to send out a general broadcast to all users. Is this possible? And, if so, how would I integrate something like this?
Yep all of that is possible with Nexmo you seem to have 3 or 4 separate use cases here so lets break those down:
When your users sign up for your site you'll want to capture their Cell numbers against their account, you might want to use the Nexmo Verify product as part of that signup to ensure you have a correct and valid mobile number.
For users to be able to add listing via text you would need to get a nexmo number for them to send their listing to, that would be one number for the whole site and you could look at the senders number to link the message to an account (from the one you captured at registration) If you don't recognise the sender of a listing message then you'll want to send back some kind of response asking them to register and a link.
For buyers to contact sellers without revealing their numbers this is a very common use case called 'Message (or Call) Proxy' you need to rent a number for each seller (or listing) so you'll need to factor that into your pricing, then you forward any messages sent to the number to the seller, you will also have to implement some logic to handle replies and track state in your application, within SMS there is no concept of a reply so each message has no association with the previous one, this is a bit tricky when you have several conversations going on over the same number.
Finally the 'broadcast' this would just be a case of iterating over the list of numbers you have for your users and sending the message to each one, you will need to ensure that you comply with any regulations around sending of bulk messages in the country you are sending to, more details for that are on the nexmo knowledgebase https://help.nexmo.com/hc/en-us
I have to forward multiple selected mails from my g-mail account. I tried making a filter of the mails and then auto forwarding it to the other email. But it would just forward the future mails. How to forward the past emails?
No you can't do this because Gmail does not support multiple mails forwarding.
However you can use OutLook for the same
In this case, you can use Google Scripts to auto-forward Gmail messages. You can apply a particular label to these messages that you wish to forward and the script will send them all, one by one, to the specified email adddress.
I have a web application that monitors farms in certain areas. Right now I am having a problem of performing automation with some of the tasks.
Users of the web application can send reports or checkins using keywords. If the reports or checkins correspond to certain keywords, for example "alert", I need the web application to send an alert to the user via email using that web application. But that alert must be sent two weeks after the date of the report received, and to that particular user only.
Would it be possible to use cron to perform this? If not, can anyone suggest me a workaround?
A possible approach you might consider is to store an entry in a database for each of these reminder emails you need to send, at the time your user does whatever action in your application that determines the need to send that email exists. Include the recipient, the date to be sent, and the email content as content you store for each entry. Schedule a single cron job to run periodically to process these database records by due date, and populate an email template to be sent out. You can then either delete the database records, or a better option, include a column that indicates they were sent and mark them as sent.
It would help to provide which technology stack you're operating on and what the application is developed in. Others might be able to point you to technology specific approaches or pre-built plugins/extensions that already do this for the situation you're in, to help you avoid the need to write your own code for the solution.
