How can I list all blogs available in my Orchard CMS installation? I would like to simply display a navigation to all my blogs on the home page but there does not seem to be any easy way to achieve this within the Admin UI, especially since Blog is not a Content type.
Blog is a content type. Just do a projection filtered by the type blog, and you're done.

Does anyone know if it is possible to share data between sites on a Kentico platform, such as news articles? I have tried searching but could not find an answer.
Thank you,
Yes. If you want the content to be the same and keep the URLs and Domains separate, then this is best accomplished with linked documents between the sites. This way if they are updated on either site, they will remain in sync on the other site. Read more here: https://docs.kentico.com/k9/managing-website-content/working-with-pages/copying-and-moving-pages-creating-linked-pages

Basically what you'd want to do in your content tree, is click "new page" and then select "Link an existing page" from the bottom of the next menu. After that, you will see a content tree to select a page from. Use the site selector in the top left to choose a different site, and then select the page you'd like to link in.
Note: Keep in mind that the page type will need to be allowed in that section of the tree (for example, if you are trying to nest a news article under a folder but folders are not an allowed parent type, you will get an error).
If you'd like to pull data from another site in via repeater and leave the content on the other site, then you can user a repeater or similar viewer control, and specify a site within the properties in order to pull the pages from the other site.
Each of these methods assumes the Kentico sites are on the same instance of Kentico with a shared database.
If you have multiple sites in one Kentico instance, in your repeater getting the news articles, specify the site you want to get the news articles from and it will be displayed on that site. If you want to combine them then create a custom query and use the query repeater to show the news articles.
I am developing a site with Orchard CMS that has three functions. The site has one global search form that search all of content by type (I used the search form widget).
One site has an "Article" content type. I had created a page to display all of articles.
How do I create other search forms in this article page that search only by the article's content type?
Check out this blog post by an old developer I used to work with, explains how to create an advanced search form.

I am currently involved in project where we are using Liferay (6.1 GA2).
It seems that Liferay search results provide links to Web Content Fragments instead of to the pages containing them.
Have any of you gone through this issue? Do you know how to solve it?
Thanks a lot pals.
Best, Alberto
You can have a lot more content in the backend than actually displayed on any page. Further, you can display any article on multiple pages at once.
A way to work around this is to specify in the "Web Content Search" portlet that you're only interested in content that is actually published. However, this does not solve your second problem: The content can still be published on many different pages.
Every content can have a "Display Page" - the setup of such a display page is well explained in the UI (see the Web Content Editor) so that you'll actually see a proper page with the search results.
If you actually want to search for pages only instead of content (you might miss out on some metadata), I'd recommend to go with some spider solution that spiders your website, indexes the pages independent of their construction elements (articles) and search that external index.
I am kind of new to Orchard CMS and I need to implement some kind of a portal on this technology. Basically the system need to have a couple of blogs and some additional content types (like events, webcasts, photo galleries etc). Whenever I navigate to a blog (for example http://localhost/OrchardLocal/blog1/) I want to have a menu with the following actions:
Latests posts - which will contain the latests posts of that blog
Webcasts - which will display the entries of type Webcast from the owner of the blog
Photo Galleries - same as Webcasts but with Photo Galleries
Events - same as Webcasts but with Events
On the main page of the portal (http://localhost/OrchardLocal/) I need to somehow have all this information aggregated. So I have to be able to see the latest posts, webcasts, photo galleries and events from all the authors.
I would like to know what would be the best approach to implement this.
There is a great blog post abount finding content in Orchard which should give you enough to start with.
If you want to implement the links as a menu you might want to look at the INavigationProvider interface which has a couple of good implementations (notably Pszmyd's Advanced Menu Module as well as the core Orchard ones).
I need help trying to customize the Breadcrumb navigation displayed by SharePoint. I have created two .aspx pages in the Pages Library named search.aspx and products.aspx. A link from search.aspx leads to the page products.aspx, and I want the breadcrumb navigation to reflect this structure so that the breadcrumb looks as follows:
Home > Search > Products
and where "Search" links to search.aspx.
However, when I navigate to the products.aspx page, the breadcrumb instead looks like:
Home > Products.
I’d think this would be something easy to do within SharePoint by configuring the site navigation structure, but from my research on the Internet people suggested disabling SharePoint breadcrumbs and creating a custom web part that creates these links and simulates the functionality. If not, others recommend creating a custom sitemap provider. These seem to be a lot of work just to achieve the functionality I described.
Looking in the masterpage, there is a breadcrumb placeholder with the following content, with which my pages inherit from:
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
You can customize the asp:SiteMapPath control in the MasterPage, this other question has info on it
