I registered a new domain with domain4me.in. But when i visit, it redirected to wrong website. I have assigned the name servers (50webs.com), which is not related to this wrong website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do some checks on www.whatsmydns.net. When you first purchase a domain and make the nameserver changes it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to propagate.
The above service will help you pinpoint what the nameservers are set as as well as if your records are set correctly.

I am having a hosting server and i want to create a subdomain for apis hosted on same server.What i want is suppose I have my domain name domain.com and want to have sub domain api.domain.com and set a folder path /public_html/api for it to load APIs.What I did is created a sub domain in Domains/subdomains section in cpanel and set folder path there and then created a CNAME pointing to IP of my server. but unfortunately when I open it, it gives me error Internal Server Error.
Please suggest what need to do for configurations ?

Click on the "Subdomain" option in cPanel and create your subdomain, pointing the root document to your desired folder /public_html/api
It might not update right away either. I just did this the other day, then I tried going to the new URL and it wasn't loading, I thought I did it wrong. I checked the subdomain the next day and it was working.
Wait for some specific time period, the domain will automatically be accessible after some time. actually, it needs some time to propagate and resolve IP associated with a particular sub-domain. it takes around 24-48 hours to resolve. I got a new server from 10gbps.io and setup the dns/hostname accordingly but when I check my domain federalwardogs.com with whatsmydns.net I get errors and some users cant access the site or see the site.
I'm currently using ns3.tbuilds.org and ns4.tbuilds.org but I still can't figure out what am I doing wrong.
It's been over 5 days and still nothing :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Fixed it by adding an A record in my domain # and the servers IP address 👍🏼
This may not even be possible but I'm trying to figure out the URL of the main domain for an add-on domain.
Lets say for example the site is at mymaindomain.com.
If I go to
http://mymaindomain.com/cpanel (or :2082 or :2083)
I get nothing.
That is because mymaindomain.com is an add on domain for the hosting account.
Lets say the primary domain on the account is myprimarydomain.com and this was the domain originally set up with the hosting account. However, this domain is no longer valid and not being leased by the hosting client anymore.
If I log in to cpanel using the old main domain by going to
http://myprimarydomain.com/cpanel (or :2082 or :2083)
I am able to get into cpanel.
The problem is, there must be a new main domain name associated with this account, but I don't know what it is.
Is there any way to find this out given cpanel access to the account?
Is there any other way to find out what the primary domain is on the account?
Any help is much appreciated and bounty will be awarded promptly to the first correct answer.
Sorry, my rep is too low to comment yet, I was wondering if you are able to get the IP of your server once you are in cpanel. (Should be on the right side). If so ... can you go here and input the IP and tell me what the 'node hostname' says? Also ISP might help.

I've read other questions before posting this one, none of them is having the solution to what im facing. Im not new to Azure websites and already have a few websites running already but this one in particular is being a pain. I have a domain something like www.abc2wxyz.com (sorry can't reveal the name). I have made the required CNAME with awverify and awverify.www but still even after 24hrs Azure keeps giving me abc2wxyz.com or www.abc2wxyz.com. On the other hand if i add another domain called abc-wzyx.com it gets added. Could this be due to the first domain containing numerics? or is this something else?
Also whenever i visit my domain abc2wxyz.com i get that blue Azure 404 image which shows that the domain's CNAME have infact propogated and all that is left is adding it to the respected Azure Website.
I guess problem was due to the fact that I had a number in my domain name e.g. www.abc2wxyz.com but as soon as i got a domain that was www.abctowxyz.com it started working. Im not sure what the problem might be but if you know, i would be happy to know about it.

We have a new hosting to host our wordpress site. But I would like to remain the email functionalities from my previous host. So that our email users will never changed their local client settings.
If I changed the nameserver, the email of course will be in trouble. I searched the net and found out it must somewhere in MX/Host Record. So I redo the nameserver settings back to default and work around as what suggested. What I did recently is that I changed the 'www' address points to the shared IP of the new hosting server.
But when I visit my site after 24hrs. It gives the page error "This webpage has a redirect loop".
Hope somebody can help here.
