I have a google maps application... what sort of map API does waze use so I can leverage their maps? Is it hard to switch?
D
May be Bing.Because i found waze android apps using Bing,From its log files
You can find Waze's own API here: https://www.waze.com/about/dev
I am no expert but it seems easy to use.

I would like to add to an app the directions from the Google maps as seen bellow, but the information to come from the google maps when I am starting the navigation (a route on the main Maps App. Would that be possible? And if yes, where would I start?
EDIT: This post describes better the issue I'm having, and it even provides a Kotlin library that can be used.
You can use Mapbox API for Navigation. It's a very great library to use.
Check this tutorial for implementation.
Check the example that you want exactly.
Basic UI Navigation Example
BETA => Turn-by-turn navigation
This can be solved using the notification Listener Service. There is a Kotlin library that can be used.
I would like to create a SDK for mobile developers to embed my solution, but instead of writing it in Swift and Java, I would like to use Xamarin to write it once and then export to the selected target.
I'm not sure if it possible, I saw this answer : Is it possible to embed xamarin part into an existing native app?
but it was sometime ago so I wonder if things have changed or if there is a workaround, like writing a small native part just to create the bindings and export this as the sdk then...
AFAIK nothing has changed, still not possible.
What is the exact difference between p4.net and p4api.net?
I was trying to create a custom gui based tool for perforce and I started developing it using p4api.net. Much later I came to know about the existence of p4.net. Now I am confused with their difference and the purpose.
Also I have a doubt on which option to choose for the development.
Is there something else other than these two?
P4API.NET is the supported API for .NET applications, so I'd go with that. You can see a list of the officially released APIs for the various languages here.
I'm wondering what would be the best way to implement isSupported() method in air native extension which utilizes android maps v2.
I know that MapFragment.getMap() returns null if Google Play Services is not installed, but this can be checked only after fragments onCreateView() has been called. I would need to check whether device supports the maps before I show map on stage.
Is that possible and if yes, what would be the best way?
You may try using GooglePlayServicesUtil.isGooglePlayServicesAvailable.
Is it possible to develop plugins for Microsoft Office Communicator? If so, where does one start -- is there an SDK?
The Custom Tabs sample app may be just what you are looking for.
A good place to start would be the SDK. I'm not sure if you can create plugins for it, but since it has a API, you can definitely hook into it from external apps or webpages.
