Google Maps on website in Android OS - web

Hello I have this webiste www.liiklusinfo.ee and it's basically designed to work on web browsers, but is it possible to see that map on an Android mobile-phone? I can see that it is possible, because http://kraater.eu/en/map shows up on my android phone, but why isn't my website showing up? When I open the page, it states that I must get a new API code, but I have all the right API keys..

It's definitely due to the fact that you are using Maps API v2 instead of v3.
V2 is causing some issues which is preventing v3 from loading. You may be able to find the route of those problems, but it would just be easier to switch to v3.
I would recommend reading this guide:
http://blogs.missouristate.edu/web/2010/05/12/google-maps-api-v3-developing-for-mobile-devices/

I'd suggest upgrading to the version 3 api, the tag line is V3: The Solution for Maps Applications for both the Desktop and Mobile Devices after all.
This should solve your problem. Moreover, i can see the map on the opera mini browser on my android just not the other.

Can the spotify (windows) desktop client be extended?

I found no clues in the developer documentation, but equalify claims that it integrates into the desktop application. They don't offer a free version so I couldn't try it out.
Is it possible/supported to create extensions for the desktop client and is there some hidden documentation available?
I'd be interested in developing one, but so far I had no luck in finding any documentation.
It used to be possible using the Spotify Apps API. I think you can still manually sideload apps, but there is no App Store or similar. Moreover, support for old Spotify Apps is about to be dropped completely in the future.
So no, there's no way to extend Spotify as far as I know.

Acumatica mobile app

I have been trying to figure out how to use the Acumatica mobile app. I can log on without any problems but when I click on Expense Claims for example, I get a error 500. On a test store that we have in the same installation, it gives error 404. Is there any configuration that has to be done before the app can work? I have Acumatica version 5.1. I've looked at the results in the Request profiler but do not see any thing that could help. I have also been looking for any documentation on the mobile app, is there a framework development guide?
error 505 usually means difference between version on Acumatica site and mobile app.
Please verify that you have installed LATEST version from store and use Latest version of Acumatica.
Please provide version of your mob App (android or iOS) and version of Acumatica site.
Just installed latest version of Android app from http://play.google.com/ and connected to one of our test sites on 5.2 https://external.acumatica.com/Acumatica5/ to Demo company without any issues, i can open Expense Claims UI without issues.
Well, looks like it somehow related to network connection, first of all try to use HTTPS protocol instead of HTTPS
Also will be helpful if you provide url and credentials to your site.
Also, you can use some proxy to capture http traffic to figure out the reason, i'm using Fiddler for example

Can I use Yandex Maps in a Nokiax app?

I need to use Yandex Maps in an app instead of Here Maps. Could this be possible? Any hints or tricks to help me?
Thanks
Basically the rules of using APIs is very simple. If the API is not requiring any parts that are not available in the platform, then it works.
Thus if the API is using parts that are supported in AOSP 4.1.2 API level 16, and using any Google services, then it is likely to work just fine.
And you can always check the compatibility with free online tools very easily. First go to Online Analyser drag and drop the APK there, and let the tool check the compatibility issues.
Then you can also use a real device for testing, just visit Remote Device Access, and reserve a device for testing your app.
Both steps should onlky take you couple of minutes to complete.
For Yandex maps, you would need to visit their developer site to see how the maps API can be used, and what restrictions they would pose on utilizing the API.

Chrome: Google Cast Retrieve Available Device List

I worked with the pre-release SDK before the official SDK was released. Before I could retrieve a list of devices and display them however I wanted. For example, Google Music still has this functionality.
With the official release, is there any other way, besides having the Chromecast Extension popup with the list, to show available devices? I've been searching the documentation for an answer with no results.
Thanks!
No, the functionality is now handled by the extension to make it more uniform across all apps that use this feature, and to avoid confusion as to what the cast icon is in the chrome itself on the top right and what is the cast icon inside the player. Now both provide the same functionality if you are within a cast-enabled app.

How to join an existing activity playing media in chrome app

So assuming you've already launched media on the receiver from an iOS/Android/Web app, how can another web app join this activity and control the media? I noticed that the cast API has a 'JOIN_ACTIVITY' in it, but there's nothing that currently uses it. Nor do you know the activity's ID to join it..
This is similar to How to check if a ChromeCast Session is already in progress however, this answer does not help to connect to an existing application
However, using the javascript API, even if you know your app is running I can't find a way to connect to it without re-launching
I managed to get some answers from the Google engineering team:
We allow clients to reconnect to the same session if they are launched
from the same origin (i.e. http://www.somedomain.com:80/). We don't
have the support in the V1 protocol stack to implement this across
multiple browsers. We can hard code something for V1 like mapping
origins to app ids, but it will still be some eng effort to add the
API support as well.
In short, the functionality from Android and iOS is currently missing from the Chrome SDK... hope it comes out soon.
EDIT: To update this, now that the official public SDK has been released, this is now supported!
