SignataureTool doesn't open in Blackberry - blackberry-eclipse-plugin

I have build an application in BB.It works fine on the simulator.Now i have to run it on device,so i bought keys from RIM,and installed them successfully.I can see three file (2 .csk file and one .db file) being created in the vmTool folder of eclipse.I copy those file in the respective bin folder of the particular OS.When i try to open the SignatureTool via command line,the SignatureTool opens and closes within a blink of an eye.Even i can't do code signing from eclipse,it shows at the bottom right "Packaging Project 99%" and after few seconds my eclipse freezes.So if anyone has encountered the same problem,kindly help.

maybe the signing server was not responding in time? check isthesigningserverdown.com and retry signing.

how do I fix HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized?

So I've come across a problem, what I am trying to do is "Check if the python file is ready to execute" as verbatim by my CS professor. So here I what I have done so far:
-Enabled Directory Browsing
-Added a new Script Map
-Linked the executable to the python executable of my python project
-Changed its directory to a new folder (as instructed)
-Created a New Python File with this code in it:
print("Content-Tytpe: text/html\n");
number1 = 1
while number < 10:
print("Hello Python World! <br>");
number = number+1
-and finally clicked on "Browse .80"
I clicked on "test.py" (the python file) and this showed up:
I researched a couple of fixes in this site and among others and this is what I have tried:
-Checked the permissions in the folder and made added a new permission for Everyone with Full Control Access
-Checked Authentication and Anonymous Authentication and set it to Application Pool Identity, both on the Desktop and the Default Website
-I even went to go as far as resetting my PC to check if some other third party application is affecting it
I am really at the end of my rope here so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try to refer to the steps below.
In IIS, select your site -> Double click on Authentication -> Select Anonymous authentication-> Right-click on it and select Edit option.
Select a Specific user option. Set IUSR, click OK.
Go to the site folder-> open its properties-> go to Security tab-> Make sure IIS_USRS has Read & execute, List folder contents, Read permissions.
After that try to visit the page again.
If the issue persists, try to check whether you are able to visit any HTML file in that folder or not.

Need to run the EB.BARCODE function from another application

We need to run the EB.barcode function from another application. To test this, we built the tutorial provided by Zebra, barcode.html, which references ebapi-modules.js. We put this in a folder called ZebraScanner – just those two files.
When this folder is placed in the /Android/data/com.symbol.enterprisebrowser folder – and the Config.xml file is modified to set barcode.html as the start page – it works perfectly.
When this folder is placed in the /Download folder .. this popup appears:
{"method":"getDefaultID","params":
[],"_rhoClass":"Rho.Barcode","_rhoID
":"0","jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1}
_rhoNativeApiCall:prompt
You can only run the EB.Barcode function from within Zebra's Enterprise Browser. The webview exposed by that product exposes several addJavaScriptInterface calls that are required to execute the logic in ebapi-modules.js, hence why you are seeing that error. If you are trying to scan from within another browser such as Chrome or FireFox then a good approach is to use DataWedge with KeyPress & there is an article explaining how to do that at https://developer.zebra.com/blog/listening-keypress-events-datawedge

issue uploading images with ionic 3

I followed this tutorial to upload images to my server with Ionic 3 ,
The image capture works: I can take pictures from gallery and show them. However, when I click in upload image button, in chrome of course without images I see a image file is created in the folder , but when I used Android Studio the image appear in the page but when I click on upload button, nothing happens and in the console of Android Studio this message appears:
W/zygote: Attempt to remove non-JNI local reference, dumping thread
D/SystemWebChromeClient: file:///android_asset/www/build/vendor.js: Line 1822 : ERROR
I/chromium: [INFO:CONSOLE(1822)] "ERROR", source: file:///android_asset/www/build/vendor.js (1822)
W/zygote: Attempt to remove non-JNI local reference, dumping thread
I/chatty: uid=10079(io.ionic.starter) identical 16 lines
W/zygote: Attempt to remove non-JNI local reference, dumping thread
I have used this code recently, and it worked like a charm

no such repository on migrating to a new cvs server

I am moving from cvsserv1 to cvsserv2. I am running cvs1.11 on current server on RHEL. I am moving to cvsserv2 which is running ubuntu 12. This is my procedure to port cvs:
zip entire repository on cvsserv1
move zip to cvsserv2
extract zip to /home/users on cvsserv2.
setup cvs service on cvsserve2 in pserver mode.
initialize repository on /home/users/cvsroot by using "cvs -d /home/users/cvsroot init"
connect to cvsserv2 from eclipse using anonymous access to do a test checkout.
I am failing on step6 with the error message "no such repository". What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE
I tried to change the above method, by adopting this http://mazanatti.info/archives/67/ and I was partially successful.
At step 3 (as in that link), after initializing repo on cvsserv2, I copied my repository to /var/lib/cvsd/project1, overwriting CVSROOT folder. Now, after finishing all steps, I was able to connect successfully. However, when I try to check out, I don't see any branches. When I tried to Refresh Tags, I receive the following error:
What is going wrong?
Ok. I figured this one out. For those who might encounter this issue again, here's how I managed to identify and fix it:
Eclipse's cvs client sucks - it doesn't give you much information. (I could be wrong, may be it writes some debug info to eclipse log file - still, I think that error message should have been more descriptive). Anyway, I obtained TortoiseCVS and attempted a checkout and it failed with an error message on the lines of -"failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/cvsroot/foo'. This is not the exact message, but it was something like that.
So, all I had to do, was go into my cvs dump from cvsserv1, look for references to that directory (which is a valid path on cvsserv1 but not cvsserv2). I found a reference to it in config file under CVSROOT folder. It was assigned to a property called LockDir. This property was referring to a /home/cvsroot/foo on the older server as a lock directory. All I had to do was comment out this property and restart cvsd. Everything started working just fine after this!

Actionscript 3.0 Disable navigateToURL

A web game I play on that allows user uploaded content has been having a lot of issues with people using the navigateToURL function to send players to random websites. I was curious if there was a way to disable this function using Actionscript 2 or 3. I have seen a way to do it using the HTML embed but I do not have administrative access to the website.
After doing some more research, I have come up with a solid answer:
You should use a combination of PHP and an executable called swfdump on the server side to validate the user uploaded content.
swfdump is an exe file located in the bin folder of the Flex SDK. You can run it from PHP using exec.
It will read the bytecode of the swf and produce a report. From that you can easily locate which files contain navigateToURL() and reject the files.
I tested a file of my own using swfdump -abc -out myfilereport.swfx myfile.swf
and in that output I found this:
findpropstrict flash.net:navigateToURL
findpropstrict flash.net:URLRequest
pushstring "http://www.plasticsturgeon.com"
constructprop flash.net:URLRequest (1)
callproperty flash.net:navigateToURL (1)
The url I was using was "http://www.plasticsturgeon.com". But it would be far easuer to just eliminate any swf that includes flash.net.navigateToURL. Once you identify tha is present you can generate an error notice to your end user.
So using this method you can find and reject any swf that is using navigate to URL. You could even create a batch to run and invalidate any existing assert with this problem.
