RSS-Feed Webpart SharePoint 2010 - sharepoint

I had added a RSS-Feed WebPart to my SharePoint Site. Sometimes this Webpart displays the error message: "The requested RSS feed could not be displayed. Please verify the settings and url for this feed. If this problem persists, please contact your administrator." This problem is on multiple clients and only sporadic. The RSS Feed is from a News Site and permanently available. Any ideas?

i would suggest to debug this problem by asking your users who are facing this problem to directly access the feed URL in their browsers and see if the problem is not with their client machine configurations

SharePoint 2007 Site usage report has random user who has never accessed site

I was hoping someone could shed some light on a current issue I'm facing. A user is concerned because they have looked at the Site Usage Report for their SharePoint 2007 team-site and seen an other user in the 'Top Users for past 30 days' list. This other user doesn't and has never had access to the site.
Anyone experienced something similar? I know SP2007 site usage reports are a bit flaky, but is there an explanation?
We have faced this kind of scenario in our SharePoint 2007 environment. One of the users did not have permission to access the SharePoint site. Whenever he tried to access the specific site, SharePoint will automatically redirect the user to AccessDenied.aspx page. In this case, SharePoint considers the redirected error page in his visit count and also included in the total hits count.
This could be a reason for the site visit counts for the specific user. The following link may help you to trace the user activities in Site Usage Report in SharePoint site.

Unable to publish the page in SharePoint 2013

I have created a blank web part page and a custom web part. I have added that web part into the page. After all the changes when i tried to check in and publish the page, the page again goes in edit mode and i am unable to publish the page. I was able to check in the page from the designer but cannot publish the page. I have a list web part on that page which is connected to my custom web part. Please help me.
Thanks in Advance
Are you using custom MasterPage? If yes Can you please change it to OUT of box Master and perform publishing?
Can you check the ULS log and Advise ?

Blank Page when navigating to SharePoint site

I created a SharePoint web-application, and a new site collection under it. I made it SSL Enabled. (Now I could view the site and modify/add content). I started modifying the landing page of the sites I created. Basically I created a copy of seattle.master and applied this new css file to my pages. Now suddenly, I see a blank page with no error information, on navigating to my site collection. I tried the LoopBack fix to no avail. I feel this is an authentication issue, but I am unsure where to go from here. Moreover, SharePoint Designer refuses to connect to the site as well (I am getting- SharePoint Foundation not installed on this server error, which is not the case). I have Sharepoint Server 2013, and the web server is on Win Server 2008 R2. Any ideas?
I had the same issue with my sites on all site collections under a web application.
I tested the other sites in the other site collection and they were coming up ok.
I checked the content database, took it off line and reset it, same issue. Checked log files, no errors in the log files, reset IIS and app pools same issue, checked permissions on the webapp in iis, same issue.
Solution.
Replaced the webconfig from yesterdays backup and it worked,
a solution that was deployed to the web application and activated on the site collection must added some entries and corrupted the file

Sharepoint 2010 web parts not displaying on one website, but are on the other

I'm working on remolding my companies current exsisting Sharepoint site. I installed the SP ZAP Slideshow webpart and went to the sharepoint site to insert it, and absolutely no webparts were listed. I went into the provided Sharepoint 2010 central administration and realized that everything seems to be listed as
//usmvwc0wtf1srv.ww005.work.net/sitepages/
When the website were hosting, and it should be listing is
//usmvwc0wtf1srv.ww005.work.net/sites/
I went to the /sitepages website and all the webparts exsisted and worked, however i need to get them working on the /sites page. Is there some way to switch it so it will not default all the webparts and content i'm uploading to the wrong page? I feel as though the wrong default page is listed? sorry new to all this!
Web Parts, which you see listed and are able to insert on a page when you edit it, come from the Web Part Gallery in the site collection. They are usually installed to the gallery when you activate their site collection-scope feature. Check what features you didn't activate in the new site collection - I suspect that one of them is responsible for the installation of Web Parts you are looking for. (The scope of the feature can be site collection or site - check both.)

File not found error in SharePoint 2010 while using a site template

I'm using SharePoint 2010. I saved a Site Template(.stp) and used this template to create a sub site. Browser shows file not found error, however, if I add /_layouts/ChageSiteMasterPage.aspx to that URL, I'm able to see settings Page.
Error:
cannot create folder "Path".
Correlation ID: 4baa2636-0dd9-4965-afc1-e438d74a20d5
What could be the problem??
Search for that correlation ID in your SharePoint log. Probably the problem is because you need to activate a feature in the new site, or you have a custom solution that you need to deploy there.
Go to Site Setting and open the Master Pages section. Look for anything checked out and chack it back in. This happens each time you create a new site from a template.
