I'm running Windows 10 and I have installed JDK 9, Maven, IntelliJ, ActiveMQ and now I have started hawtio-app-1.5.4.jar.
When I click on any of the tabs, example "Connect" there is no content loading.
Anyone know the issue and a fix?
Please try the following command to boot your hawtio-app when you use JDK 9 according to Get Started.
java --add-modules jdk.attach,java.xml.bind -jar hawtio-app-1.5.5.jar
By the way, hawtio 1.5.5 is already released; I recommend using the latest version.

I am using Eclipse Neon IDE (for Java EE developers) in Ubuntu 17.04.
I tried other versions of eclipse also, but I am not able to see tool bar in the eclipse.
Please help me on this.

This seems to be Eclipse bug 516408. Maybe it is already fixed in Eclipse Oxygen. If not, please add a comment in the Eclipse bug and try following workaround:
Workaround: Use Ubuntu 16.04 (gtk-3.18.9), or set SWT_GTK3=0
I install NodeJS plugin for Netbeans 8 (node.js for Windows installed before).
I see only tab "Node.js" in Other options with only 2 parameters: default run command and default kill command. No other parameters. No project type "Node.js". Almost nothing.
nb\var\log\messages doesn't contain error for NodeJS plugin.
What's wrong?
The problem reproduced for NodeJS plugin 2.2 included into Netbeans update center.
But NodeJS plugin 2.28 downloaded from Tim Boudreau's NetBeans Update Center works well.
Please do not use internal Netbeans' list of modules at least for NodeJS
I'm using 64 bit Windows 8. It was fine yesterday, and it just failed to start. It shows the loading screen, but it just stop right there.
Anyone has the same problem? Any fix? It has happened to me twice with my old pc, which were using 32 bit Windows 7.
While I haven't heard of this issue before, here's something that will hopefully fix the issue:
find a directory called .devcenter in your user directory (that should be \Users\<youruser>)
move this directory to a different location
start DevCenter
If this doesn't work:
in the same \Users\<youruser>\.devcenter\logging folder find the log.txt file; you might be able to see the root error
there is a newer version available (1.1.1)
Some time this can be due to Java version. For me it was failing because I was using Java 9. It worked fine after downgrading to Java8. Confirm compatibility of your devcenter and java
I have Eclipse Juno with Spring Tools Suite plugin installed.
I need to deploy a newly imported web project to Tomcat 7, which I installed on my system via repository.
The problem is that the New Server Wizard screen won't allow me to select Tomcat 7, as the description is empty and unmodifiable.
How can I fix this? I can select other versions of Tomcat but when I select the installation path of Tomcat I get an error that the installed version is 7.

Follow these steps, as this is a known issue
Go to Window–>Preferences–>Server–>Runtime Environments and fix the broken path/link for the server.
Rename the org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core.prefs to org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core.prefs.bak (or you can delete this file). This file can be found at \workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings
Rename the org.eclipse.wst.server.core.prefs to org.eclipse.wst.server.core.prefs.bak (or delete the file). This file also can be found at the same location as above.
Follow these steps
1.)Go to Window–>Preferences–>Server–>Runtime Environments and fix the broken path/link for the server.
2.)delete this file org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core.prefs under this location \workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings
3.)delete this file org.eclipse.wst.server.core.prefs under this location \workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings
After following these step's you can configure tomcat in eclipse.
Click on Add Configuration Runtime environments
On the Server Runtime Environments Window you will more than likely see Apache Tomcat 7.
If you remove the runtime environment and then go Back to the New Server Wizard Tomcat 7 will be available to add again.

The Eclipse Juno may not be fully compatible with the Apache Tomcat 7 yet. Installing and configuring with Tomcat 6 works. Simple.
I've been trying for the past 5 hours to make my java ME application to compile without any luck.
System:
W7 64X
NetBeans 7.0
Java JDK 32X
Error Message:
Execution failed with error code 1.
I've done the following things trying to fix it.
Added runMidlet to DEP.
turned off my anti-virus/firewall.
reinstalled and rebooted 5 times prolly.
and something I found on google.
Please edit <javamesdk_installdir>\toolkit-lib\modules\bootstrap\conf\system.properties and reconfigure the device-manager.object-registry.host=localhost to: device-manager.object-registry.host=127.0.0.1
And one other thing that can be the causes for this issue is the Port 1299 might be taken
Please edit <javamesdk_installdir>\toolkit-lib\modules\bootstrap\conf\system.properties and change
device-manager.object-registry.port=1299 to: device-manager.object-registry.port=1999
the only thing that has changed since I started is that now I get the error after 10 sec and before it was after 24sec.

mine solved by installing standalone Java ME SDK http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javame/javamobile/download/sdk/index.html then in the netbeans go to Tools > Java Platform then remove default J2ME Platform, next click Add Platforms and locate your new Java ME SDK.
if that still failed try uninstall Java ME Plugin in Tools > Plugins > Installed then install Mobility in Available Plugins Tab
I do not know how you added JME SDK 3, but check bellow my setup
