GDK Android Emulator - google-gdk

I have a sample program with static card for google glass using GDK. How can i run it?
I have created an emulator from this following link, http://mobilevangelist.com/2014/01/02/gdk-and-the-android-emulator/
but once i run my application it show Card class not found.
similarly i tried with http://www.elekslabs.com/2013/11/google-glass-development-without-glass.html
i cant able to run my sample program.
Kindly give some ideas to run GDK app without Google Glass.
Thanks,
Ganesh

Note that the post you reference says the following:
It turns out you can do some things in an Android emulator when
developing for Glass. Most of the functionality specific to Glass
won’t work, but those Android paradigms that can run on Glass do work.
These are limited to Activity layouts and some interactions.
You can't run any of the Glass specific classes, like Cards, on the emulator. You can only preview your layouts if they are done with Android layout resources.

Window.onblur or Window.onfocus not working in Android Studio

I implemented a simple Javascript function, which allows the audio to be paused or start depending on if the window where the script runs is focused on or not, and it works on the web.
However, I noticed an issue when I try to implement it in android studio, even after enabling the JS as seen in the screenshot. Indeed, when I get out of the app, the sound is still running whether I click on the back or the home button.
I'd like to add as well that I'm a total beginner in the android studio IDE, but I wanted to know if I could maybe find an answer here. How to make my Javascript-script work in the android environment ?
Thanks in advance

Android Studio for Dart without emulator

Is it possible to use AndroidStudio (for Dart) withOUT running an emulator?
Context: I am a complete newbie and have started reading some intro books and following online tutorials. I am aiming to learn DART and FLUTTER and have successfully installed AndroidStudio and an emulator and ran some successful test projects like helloworld.
The thing is, these early example projects are VERY basic things, to teaches me about variables and syntax etc and outputs results to the console. At this point, i do not need to boot up an entire emulator (which adds a layer of clunkiness when running)... but AndroidStudio seems to insist on one being activated?
I could use "DartPad" (which i love) for simple stuff - but it's limited and i'd prefer to learn one dedicated IDE if possible.
It depends on what you are actually running. If you are using Dart alone, you should be able to run it. Personally, I do these kinds of projects within IntelliJ Idea - which Android Studio is based on anyway, but doesn't come with the Android "overhead". Microsoft Visual Studio Code is another valid option that many people use.
If your project is based on Flutter (i.e. it contains UI), you need a "device" to run on - it might be the Android emulator, iOS simulator, Chrome or native (experimental).

How to user sketch app sources templates on android studio?

I'm looking for a way to use sketchappsources.com templates on android studio, I found out that the sketch official application is working only on MAC OS and there is an alternative called Lunacy (by Icon8) that works on windows, the problem is that even after importing the downloaded theme on lunacy I have no idea how am I supposed to get the xml/drawables that I can import into android studio, any one can help please?
Thank you
You can simply use some plugins which are created exactly for this purpose.
For example Sympli would let you to drag and drop your design into Swift or Android Studio in no time.
There is also some basic tutorial on their website for getting on board.

Showing All views in the top corner in genymotion Emulator in Android Studio

I have recently installed Android Studio with genymotion emulator based on a youtube tutorial. I'm designing a simple calculator with only one button and two Number(EditText) views . When designing, it is showing different views at different positions. But, when I run it, in the emulator, all the views are appearing in the top corner. How can I resolve this issue?
It sounds like you are using the ConstraintLayout from Android Studio, and you are missing the constraints for your layout.
To fix, go inside the Layout Editor, and click on the infer constraints button (https://developer.android.com/training/constraint-layout/index.html#use-autoconnect-and-infer-constraints) , recompile and deploy to your device and the buttons should be in the correct spot.
I'll also note, you should try the official Android Emulator: https://developer.android.com/studio/run/emulator.html

Can you use Android Studio for Samsung Gear 2?

I have an app that I would like to build wearable support across platforms. I got Android Wear support, I got Gear Fit support. Now I am trying to figure out the Tizen SDK and if I can integrate that with Android Studio. Is that possible?
I won't say it's not possible, but Android Studio/IntelliJ does not support the Tizen Wearable build process at this time. I don't know what the long-term plans are for the Tizen SDK team--if whether they will continue with Eclipse as it is or start providing support for A/S themselves.
A Tizen Wearable app is for all intents and purposes a web app with a few config.xml changes and some custom folders, so there may be a way to cobble support in if you were really desperate enough. Behind the scenes, here is what the Tizen IDE/Eclipse is doing. Perhaps this will give you enough of a start.
